Why does everyone hate T3???

It seems to me stupid that the Skynet will send back to the past less powerfull terminator like in T3...

i think skynet have a problems with programing...

I disagree, I think the story line was fine and had a good open-ended conclusion to another movie.

T3 was a disappointment and james cameron needs to get involved in t4. maybe it is good that t3 sucked. why because if it was like t1 or t2, they would have to make a t4 and t4. the bettert the sequels the more movies and the harder and harder to get the original creators and actors and then a slow decline. What studio will end a saga with a great movie that begs the audience to see more? then you have a market and then to make money, another movie.. this is why james cameron walked away. he felt this movie wasn't true to the story, it was just done becasue they felt they could make money. knowing that, he didin;t want any part of that. I think t2 was not the greatest movie ever, but i think t1 and t2 togther are the best executed mest written best sci-fi movies. I liked t1 better than t2 cause it was cleaner and more true, but t2 is one of those sequels that expands of the first and was NEVER a disappointment.. my nly problem with t2 is that i liked arnold as the evil terminator. even with robert patrick, nobody can match the evil, the intent, the relentless cold and doomed feeling of arnold in the first terminator, period. t-1000 wasn't as scary, it had more variety of abilities and in many ways was more dangerous, but was not as menacing or intimidating.

conclusion:
t1 A+
t2 A
t3 C
t4 I hope at least a b+

I just saw T3 for the 3rd time, and it doesn't suck. It's awesome!
In this thread, someone is saying there's not plot to it, but it follows right along the same plot that the first 2 Terminator movies have followed, but it adds more AND if there's not plot, there's nothing to discuss, when why are you sitting at your computer at the Movie Websight talking about the movie so much... etc etc..

Uh, did you see the movies? Hello! Skynet didn't send the "good" Terminators back! The human resistance did ONLY after they capture them and re-programmed their CPUs. Why didn't they capture a better terminator you ask? You answered your own question! They're too powerfull! The resistance probably COULDN'T capture them!!

If you didnt read all conversations, you should do that!...Tx is T-900 less powerfull than T-1000, are you 5 years old or what?!...Tell me one sample of strongest maschine of T-1000...

DULOBAST25 good point...in the future there will be no more good terminators. James Cameron didnt stop directing terminator because of money problems, but he told, it all end in T2: Judgment day, there shouldnt be any more terminators like T3 or T4.....I think in T4 original story will be lost forever...Mostow write a story for children not for older FANs of Terminator, and Cameron must act quickly or else in the future we will be able to se only bitches and barby models in movie.....and no more HORROR.....

I Knew It!!!!!!!!!

I knew T3 would be all action and special effects and no good story. This movie can't touch the first two and should've never been made... I've heard rumors of a T4.... that's crazy NO MORE!!!!!

Hmmm what a surprise you didn’t think this one was going to be as good as the last. You know everyone was thinking it was going to blow the last two out of the water. Guess we are luck you are here to give us all your great advice.

And if you haven’t seen T3 then you would know that if they don’t make a sequel everyone is going to be soo pissed. They will make a sequel they have to. They left the movie to open-ended.

T3 never had a chance to be as good as the last two but it was great to see an old school action movie with lots of cool action and special effects.

T2 was indeed superseeded T1, i guess it was one of the most succesful sequels out there at the time, die hard 2 for me couldnt never beat die hard one! But i guess when expectations are high thye always overdo it or something and mess it up. Personally i feel james cameron would have done a better job on this definatly would have be awesome, i dont know why he didnt wanna do it.

I think that ***** in terminator is good for public because 1/3 of public is going to cinema to watch for their plesure not because for story.

Hey Dudes, I havnt seen T3 But can someone tell me, it is the best in the trilogy?

Hey the T800 Lost its arm in T2. did that form the base of T3

I feel i need to see it again now. Perhaps the new style needed to grow on me i dont know, but i dont have the same feelings i had when i saw T2 though, that movie left me with a oh wow expression, this one didnt really, perhaps a little bit. And yes i agree i think only the T101's are easiest to capture compared to the T1000 or T900. With thta liquid covering etc its hard to access the CPU as compared to a foot solider like version which is the T101. Althought the 101 has better success rate.

Hmmm no its not the basis for the movie. Its the inevitable fact that judgement day can not be stopped.

i have seen the movie a 3 times alrady and it deffinalty gets better with every time i see it. I becaome more and more conviced that the actor playing John is the same guy from the last one and this make the movie way better. but it will never be T2

o please ppl.
Thisi s not a TERMINATOR movie. I found NO Termiator taste in my taste bud after watching it.. This is an action movie with some stupid one liner. Time travel stories are bounded to have loopholes but T3 has loopholes more than the holes in the dish washing sponge and they are not timetravel related.
This movie is based on a stupid script that both Cameron and hamilton had turned down. T3 movie script is written for babies. NOT Teminator FANS!!

I am a fan of the Terminator movies! Have been since 1986 when I was 14 and saw that first one for the first time! Now when I went to see it, i was very optimistic. I thought I'd hate it, but I really didn't! It was not just action and stupid one-liners! The terminators in it were awesome! The ending was a shocking surprise! U'd think they'd end Judgement day once and for all, but instead, you get to watch it!! It doesn't get any better than that! I do wish Linda Hamilton was in it, I sure miss her, but it's her decision to not be.

T3 served it's duty marking the end of the excellent terminators movies...t2

t3 bascially was SPEED or SPEED 2 unsing characters from the terminator. Plenty of action, some good scenes (bathroom scene was the best, crane was cool) but acting was weak, names and occupations were weak, movie took too long to speed up the pace, vet scenes were long and boring.much of the script was unnessesary and the good one liners wwere stolen from before and we seew why the others were not used in the first place. The music was ill timed and too much of the movie was spent in silecne. The music too often didn't occur @ the right time or it was the wrong music..often througout the movie. The special effects were good, but even excludings it's age pail compared to t2 and t3 lacks the to the point theme of t1. Arnold looks exactly like he did in t2, so if he looks to old now, he looked to old in t2. he's actually the exact same weight as he was in t2 and a little more cut, belive it or not. So whoever sayed arnold is too old or needs to quit does not realize that without him there was not t3.. and it really neede furlong and hamiltion and i wah hoping for kyle reese.. maybe in t4.. i hope. Doctor silbermann came back (earl boen) and that was just about the funniest part of the movie and it tied it in to t2 and t1 when he swa arnold and took off. T3 just does not look like it was created by the same mind as t2 and t1. Something is lacking and i would not have seen it if i was not hoping and expecting more after 12 years. Action was good, but the timing of the action isn't there. Camerson excites you to pump you up and grab your interest in the beginning, then calms you down a little so he can prep you for some humanity and plot, and just when you have had enough himanity, he excites you again and the bullets fly. It acalms again, and then the action @ the finale so that it ends in a bang. In t3, johns a looser and the first 45 minutes is a bore and you find yourself looking for a bullets and gunfire. Arnold asks someone to surrrender his clothes in a.. stripp joint? I dunno, the clothes would have been of in about 2 minutes anyway.. not well thought out.. as with too many things in the film. Msot season reviewers gave this movie a C and i will have to concurr. Most newer movie critics said it was a good action-popcorn movie, which is unfortunate, because ibeing a movie for action and for women and for the human condition is what made the terminator what it was and most newer reviewers seem to forget that. But oh well i hope t4 is excellent

Well dude arnold is old, dont get me wrong arnie rocks, but at 56 it gets harder to pull of certain roles, it just natural course of life. Arnie at 56 is probably like a layman at 45 so arnie can still put off tough roles to an extent, any i had no prob with arnie in t3 he was cool, so was tx, cept she wasnt scary enough. i am glad they brought dr silverman back for that few mins, i really cracked up seeing him there again. however i think all of us have said enough of about t3, so i shall stop here. I wonder how T4 is gonna be.

Another thing in T3 that is confusing...

When Arnie first leaves the nightclub with his new leather outfit and gets into the truck, how did he know to look in the visor for the keys? How did he know to do this? He said to John later in the move: "I am a different T-101 than what was sent the first time" John told the other one how to find the keys in the visor, but not this one...hmmmmmmmm
