I already tryed to write to James, but there is no direct connection with him, i write to his offical web side and they told me if there would be direct connection with him they would also write to him. But James Cameron cannot help us now...Jonathan Mostow and Vajna and Kassar have the terminator rights, you should try with them...
T2 was indeed superceeded by t1 and t2 was one of the most sucessfull equels, but t3 was not. Expectations are high due to the high standards of james cameron. James didn't want to do it because the script and premise was poor and he didn't want to rehash the same story by just adding a few details and dotting some I's and crossing t's. I didnt know t3 would suck.. i thought it would be better once i saw the trailer. the teaser sucked. I thought it was cheesy to draw fans in with playind the music the fans wanted to hear and then not deliver any of that music @ all in the movie.... Iw would be different if the music was never in any terminator movie, but it was in the first two and they basically sold something they didn't deliver. The movie was bascially the trailer. What was not in the trailer was the lame stuff in between. This is more so the case here than in any other terminator flick. And @ 170 million, i expected more. SHould have asked cameron to give him more pointers. Everybody in thif forum should watch the making of the terminator.. the other voices version and everyone will have better appreciation of why neither t2 nor t3 passed t1 ans especially why JC cannot be surpassed in any way especially in believe it or not in the numal element. James camerson is great because he is an artist, a producer, screenwriter, a special effects set and model bulder and can do everybody's job on the set literally.. literally. This is why the standard s for t2 were set so high.. James himself admitted it was a feat to try to out do t1 and in many ways it did not surpass t1 and in some ways it did.. not many and t3 in no way is on the level of either 2. I for one don't think batman was the best of the batman series.. i thought BM#3 where wayne found himself vulnerable after the batcave was destroyed.

and so this is not simply a case of the first was better becasue it was the first.. it has to to with plot quality bolstered with good action... not action alone. Both t1 and t2 had a better story, regardless of special effects. The special effects just pushed them over the top.. especially in t2. t2 relied on special effects for what it lacked in story and james cameron was smart enough to know that and the result is excellent balance link in t1. The story in t2 was very good. T3 simly does not have that balance. Mostow id a decent job based on the ratings of his other flicks, but i felt he didn't do his absolute best or was blinded by wanting to chage so much and revamp and not to borrow from james.. ther was ,i think a little vanity here. And nobody wants to see the same thing over and over but what you are supposed to keep are the things that made the first 2 great.. not the supplementary things to help that greatness. In t3, the kept the supporting items that were good in the first 2 but they lacked the things that truley made an all around excellent movie.

As far as thetime machine problem, there isn't any....When the components from 101 was found in t1, that sped up the develpoment of skynet and @ that time would have been further advanced thus the t-1000, @ the time of the assaaination attempt, skynet was further advanced and was aware of the 101 failure 1984 and thus figured out a new plan (in the future this took place instantly). They were able to reporgram a 101 because obviously, the humans still won the war and so skynet still wanted to send a terminator back and since 101 failed, sent the prototyype. Connor more knowledgable than in thew first timeline, now kyle being his father, in addition to the military training was likely able to reprogram a t101 from where the time displacement equipment was....likely the skynet facility was destroyed and they enterd to find the main core and came accross the t 101 assembly line and pulled one from the stamping machine, reprogrammed it and activated it...place it in the time machine. It was a different one from the one in t1 that one was destroyed and when the timeline was disturbed, a more advanced unit (instantaneously) appeared in the future and the original skynet and time manchine was removed from existance. the advanced skynet and time machine and facility came into existence due to the chip found in ti thus another chance to send a terminator back. in t2, however the timeline was moved back.. and again, since skynet was aware of the failure of the t-1000, it sent back an advanced model which is why it is questionable if it is truly mor capable than t-1000, it actually has some of the characteristics of the t-800 with some of the prototype mimetic poly alloy developed on the t-1000. Skynet should be technically a little behind because the timeline was moved back, thus a later date.

arnold will likely be in dammend good shape for t4 i mean he was the us chancellor of fitness. and he was in dammned good shape for t2 and even more so in t1 AND IN T3...HE MIGHT BE 63 BY THEN, but who thought we would ever see and action hero at age 55? yeah who else at 55 i cant think of many, other than stallone either, harrison ford looks got for 61 and he is gonna do indiana jones 4, that is also a very physical role, if they make his charecter the same as the old ones, however arnie is getting old and you can tell from his face not just that, its obvious from t3 arnie has cut down on his stunt work compared to "true lies" period. So it will be more cut the scene into the stunt double thing know what i mean. However yes obviously i have to see arnie in t4!
frankly in most action movies, the actor does none of his or her own stunts so if arnie did none of the stunts other than the basic stuff, that ok with me, It's ok to age and it's ok th play roles fans want to se just as long as it is convincing.. besides who is stupid enoguh to thin that the 101' who have been in battle for a long time don't age. he might be shown as a worn torm model who enters t4 with damage,some that has healed as as on of the early 101 who has survive much of the war? human tissue is till human tisssue and a better infiltrator has the apperance of avg humans....they may actually produce them in different ages and different cosmetic tratmenst..we will see in t4
ok first he is 55 not 63 and second this is the WAR were talking about so no terminator would be in skin in the war . i know they infrilated the bases in skin but we will hardly see anything in the bases except when they go back in time so we will hardly see any arnie unless the directors find a way to squeeze him in. dont u agree.
no, the infiltrators are the reasons why the humans had almost gone out forever...they needed infiltratord to flush the humans out and kill them where they hid.. that was part of the awr strategy..it is likely we will see them infiltrate in t4 and it is not true that we will not see any without skin..it's too early to tell, they may, because it is unclear if they were ever actually PRODUCED withiut skin...i't torn betwwen whether thry are or anr not, but clearly when kyle dreams of the bases being infiltrated, it's during the war, not in the present. we can't get caught up in the verbage of man vs machines. skin or no skin, they still are machines... and it is clear that a SKINNED arnie 101 was sent during the war to assasinate john connor who looked like arnold, so it's sillty to think there won't be any with skin...the terms we built with skin and used during the war befor they were EVER used to be sent back in time, so there has to be some shown in the war, some naked, some with partial skin, some with skin bur battle scarred, some fresh off the assembly line..doesn't this make sense?
