storm VS cyclops

here this is a bit of info on lightning from a good site

Cloud-to-ground lightning can kill or injure people by direct or indirect means. The lightning current can branch off to a person from a tree, fence, pole, or other tall object. It is not known if all people are killed who are directly struck by the flash itself. In addition, flashes may conduct their current through the ground to a person after the flash strikes a nearby tree, antenna, or other tall object. The current also may travel through power or telephone lines, or plumbing pipes to a person who is in contact with an electric appliance, telephone, or plumbing fixture.

Realism? No...

Logic? Always...

nobody says logic doesnt apply...

i've read it a few times and i never said it doesn't apply i said they aren't logical as others have said

"The air near a lightning strike is heated to 50,000 degrees F hotter than the surface of the sun!" i found that on a lightning site to

Nobody says logic doesnt apply... or else they're idiots... if logic didnt apply these battles wouldnt exist...

well idk but its been said, don't get it much yself but thought i'd say it for fun- back to the fight please

i see it this way- there is a lt more ways of storm winning then there is for cyclops. and its not definitive that he can even hit her. its possible for her to miss but unless cyclops is faster than lightspeed then its possible but i've never seen him move that fast. storm has ways of winning even when she can't see him. and storm doesn't even need to hit him w/ lightning to hurt him, cause if you read my post above about lightning then you'll notice it can travel through the ground and can still cause some serious damage.

That's perfectly fine though because the ways he does have she can't defend against other than hoping he misses or she can miraculously match Quicksilver's reaction time.

He actually dodges Storm's lightning and then blasts her.

Looks like Cyclops moves faster than lightspeed then.

a new power for cyclops... excellent...

and if you actually read my posts then you would know that when storm summons lightning its as fast as normal- she has better aim w/ shooting lightning and can control the force of the blast more when she gives it herself.

But what you don't seem to know is summoning takes time. In the seconds she takes triggering this bolt of lightning, she would already be shot in the face.

Wrong. Cyclops is a true sharpshooter with his optic beams.

But it doesn't matter. Whoever hits the other first, wins. I say Cyclops has a slight edge, because he's even better (and faster) with his blasts than Storm is with whatever she uses.

Swanky storm doesnt summon anything this aint final fantasy LMAO. Storm can generate electricity herself she doesnt have to call it down from the sky. She has to manipulate the energy patterns of her surroundings to create wind, rain and other weather related effects but she can generate lightning by herself. However for added power lightning she can do both simultaneously. If u want proof of storms ability to do this check out the 2nd generation of xmens first confrontation with arcade or even storms appearance in gambits limited series a few years bk
