There must be little else of interest going on in the world, then....

indeed

I wonder if some(read: really devoted and superstitious christians) are gonna put more into the hybrid solar eclipse thats about to occur on friday, the day of the popes funeral, than it really is

Im almost positive that will happen...

yeah they probably gonna claim it as religious sign even though this eclipse has been know of for ages

There is also a lunar eclipse later this month.. Some say that a solar eclipse mean the end of a system or something and a lunar eclipse means a start of something..

I'm sure something will be said about it..But what a coincidence...what if the new pope starts on the lunar eclipse?? Now that would be kinda freaky.

Im sure there will be a story to follow...bible prophesy maybe

bible prophesy maybe
prophesy`s must be great when the facts are already common knowledge

man. its messed up that he died. which he didnt. i would go see the body but to poor to go

he didnt die??? you know something the rest of us missed out on?

He probably believes the body just died, the soul didn't.

Which is sort of connecting to my own beliefs, but for arguements sake...he died. That's what it's commonly referred to as.

well, the talk about his health going down DID start on april fools day 😉

I heard that the some official of Rome officially said his cities population almost tripled. !!!! 5 million people are coming over this week, thats the 2nd largest religious gathering in history people. It needs to be covered. Rome is literally overloaded with people. It reminds me of Hindu festivals in India almost 10 years ago. They upped the predictions because Poland said two million were coming from that country Alone. This big gathering is caused by how easy it is to go around Europe.

Also if the public disliked the news coverage people won't watch it and viewers would be down. The News people would move on, but it isn't so they play it. These high profile deaths can cause a lot of interest by the people.

It says the president of Iran and Syria is coming???

"Italy was calling in extra police to the capital and planned to seal off much of the Eternal City on Friday to protect a VIP contingent that will also include French President Jacques Chirac, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan and the presidents of Syria and Iran, among other heads of state."

You can say biggest Funeral ever. Its bigger then Hajji pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia however that happens every year. Its been a long time since so many Christians have come to one spot.

Well this pope was a very political figure. So you would expect plenty of World wide leaders to go to his funeral.

Now its 5 million and i don't thinks that an overestimate. However lets look at my Guinness book of world records.
Biggest Religious Gatherings.

20 million Hindus over one and half months in India in 1995.

Largest annual pilgrimage Hajji, Saudi Arabia 2 million Yearly.

Followed by 8 million Sikhs (only 20 million followers Total worldwide) came to a temple in Northern India in 1999 from April 13-17. WOH Thats quite shocking i thought it was 4 million.

Biggest papal mass at Manila, Philippines with 4 million people Jan,15 1995.

Now that is alot of dignitaries. Ill be shocked if president Bush and president of Syria sit near each other. Fidel Castro should of came ,it would have made Bush so mad. Another surprise is the leader of the Eastern Orthodox church is coming.( they are not really friendly)
It's a funeral i am yearning to see. I hope nothing bad happens.

I wonder who the next pope is going to be

I'm wondering where they're gonna put all those ppl.

they can all crash at my house for the night 😄

omg, i saw on the news, people were acting like nerds at a star wars premiere, running and scrambling over each other just to see the funeral....geez....
