were about to see just how racsit society really is...i believe that the next pope with be African...no doubt some people will make a big deal of it despite the fact that it wont be the first time there will have been a black pope
there is a prophecy about it
that after two towers are destroyed, the black pope will came and then there will be end of the world.

the vatican says tonight christ ill open the doors of heaven for the pope

it is very unfortunate that we are about to lose such an influential person of this era but it is better than living the way he is and i always believed the next pope will be of african american orgin because religion is not confined to one group but instead everyone and yes people will have a problem with it and as far as the prophecy goes that clovie referred too,the world ended a long time ago we have just been too busy to notice it

the world ended a long time ago we have just been too busy to notice it

indeed...a very excellent point

How is that an excellant point? The world hasnt ended since I am still here typing this post. "the world has already ended, we have just been to busy to notice" is just one of those stupid sayings that make no sence what so ever.

actually "the world has already ended weve just been too busy to notice it"is a true quote,it may not have physically ended but it really ended with the way todays society is and if you truly think about it its more true than you would ever think, just think about it

exactly...what use is a world of selfishness...corporate power rules over personal integrity...everyone would sell their grandmothers for money...we are all swirling down the plug hole and are too busy texting our friend across the table from us to even take notice

ya i hope The Pope goes peacefully, it must really be hard for him having parkinsons and practically bedridden... back in his younger years he was so active and out doorsey. Whoever replaces him will have some big shoes to fill. Hopefully its someone good.

I DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR JPII. I AM CATHOLIC AND I BELIEVE WHEN YOUR TIME COMES IT COMES. I DO HOWEVER FEEL SORRY FOR ALL OF HIS FOLLOWERS WHO HAVE GROWN WITH HIM OVER THE YEARS. I KNOW THAT IF MY GRANDMOTHER WERE ALIVE TODAY SHE WOULD BE VERY UPSET. IT'S A VERY SENSITIVE ISSUE RIGHT NOW AND MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CATHOLIC DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE CLOSENESS THAT WE DO TOWARD THE POPE AND THE CHURCH. WHEN HE DOES PASS I KNOW THAT WE WILL BE APPOINTED A POPE THAT HAS HIS OWN VIEWS AND A FRESH LOOK AT THINGS. AHHH I'VE SPOKE MY PEACE. 🙂

EASY ON THE CAPS LOCK, IT IS REALLY ANNOYING....SEE?

I think I should be the next Pope, I'd really straighten things out 🙂

"The clinical picture indicates cardio-circulatory and renal insufficiency. The biological parameters are notably compromised. The Holy Father, with visible participation, is joining the continual prayers of those assisting him."

The Vatican has denied reports in the Italian media that the pope had died.

Thousands of people gathered in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican Friday night for the saying of the rosary. High above the square, lights burned in the papal apartments.

A leading American prelate, Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, archbishop of Washington, said, "...If my information is correct, is that the Holy Father is sinking."

i recon you would n all 🙂 🤨

Quite ironic.

The Cardinals that have preached and followed his word their whole lives, won't even let him go to meet the guy he's been the spokesman for.

Impending death either does one of two things:

Makes faith or breaks faith.

I think we're seeing what happens.

The pope is a catholic leader but imo one of the most known people in the world! This is the most high profile death since i believe Diana. I am not catholic but i respect this pope because he tried so hard to make contact with other religions. He is among the most popular people. He attracted over 750,000-800,000 people in Toronto 3 years ago. It will be sad to see him go, and he is easily one of the great popes easily. this is making huge headlines and will be one of the big stories of this year.

He will die with dignity, I think we all agree on that.

do you think he will die tonight or tomorrow - or wil he hang on for another week?

If he survies like this for another day, he is one strong man!

🙁

It is sad, but far from the end. He is not the first Pope to pass away. He has left a powerful legacy though, and some big shoes to fill. And in a way I don't think the Pope himself would think this was terribly sad. He dedicated his life to this, and in a way he is heading towards his final reward. So we can be sad, while at the same time being happy for him.

Also there are some groups of religious leaders at the moment who are pretty much ruled out. It is pretty certain, apparently, that there will be no Pope from the US, due to the politics and super power status. I would be happy to see a Black Pope, but I don't really think skin colour is relevant.

has he died ?

yes he died earlier 🙁 he was a good man and if not the most trust worthy persons on this planet with notority 🙁 rip
