Fame

saying that Fame is nothing, it's rather dumb to say that, by being famous you've got a chace to be someone... being famous = money, money = everything BUT love 😬

'z just the way it is

Incorrect, completely.

Fame is nothing. How?

Because if you're a nobody and you get famous, you're still a nobody. Look at reality TV show winners. They were a nobody when they went in and they're a nobody when they're out.

You're not somebody just because everyone knows you, you're just a nobody everyone knows. I'm sure alot of people know Pauly Shore, he's about as far from being 'somebody' as you can get. He too had fame at one point.

I don't need fame because I don't like humans. I don't like fickle people, I don't like two-facedness and I don't like hypocricy. Which is exactly what you get when you become famous. People who never knew you and didn't care to know you before, want to know you. Not because of WHO you are, but WHAT you are. Which isn't what ANY human should want.

Money = Everything BUT love? To quote you "it's rather dumb to say that". If you're money's *****, that's your problem.

-AC

I agree with what AC says -- respect is much more important than fame. Fame is fleeting. Respect is important.

The only thing I'm likely to be known for is my artwork, but I'd MUCH rather be known only by a few but respected, than famous because I sold out. That's not going to happen, EVER. It would totally go against everything I stand for. I make art because I like to, and I do it for myself. If other people like it, that's fine, but I don't do it to please others.

not because u show up on a reality show means ure famous 🙄
u gotta climb ure way to the top

respect is important for self esteem YES, but does it get u anywhere?? no. does it make u warm at night? no. does it put u food one ure table? NO

People always say "Yeaaaah bullshit. If someone put a briefcase full of millions infront of you, you'd sell out in a second". Which is as far from true as you'll get.

People who believe money is the be all and end all of life, and will do anything to have it, tend to put that on everyone else due to some deep psychological shame.

If money was everything, everyone who wasn't a millionaire would be committing suicide. All I need is enough to keep me going with essentials. I don't even NEED it to buy music. I choose to pay for my music.

It depends on how badly you NEED the adoration of others, how bad you NEED status, how badly you feel about YOURSELF and how materialistic you are.

It's nice to get compliments and have people like you but I'm one of those people who believes that if people don't like you when you're nobody, they'll never like you. I'd still have the same acquaintances as I do now, if I was famous. If the next day, I lost my fame, they'd still be there. Don't expect that to happen with people who you meet while famous.

Respect and honesty are all that's important to me. For myself and for those I care for. Fame isn't something I need or want.

That is a very shallow view. Respect can get you much further than fame -- how far do you think you'll get if you're famous but no one has any respect for you? Sooner or later your fame will fade and you'll be left with nothing. But if you're respected, you'll be able to go much further.

Sorry, but I'll skip the fame. Money isn't everything. Being well-known isn't everything.

i think alot of people on here are full of shit (not including AC, that was a killer post)....but there are people on here saying how they wouldnt want to be famous and if someone is famous that doesnt make them any better than the next person but all you see is sigs of pretty boy actors and hot models that are only up there because there famous which gives off the impression that this is what society(a.k.a the people full of shit) looks up to

So? Being well-known DOESN'T make you better than anyone else. And I SURE as hell wouldn't want to be thought of as better than another person, because I know that I'm not.

ummm....thats what i said...all you had to say was "i agree"

Sorry, I misread your post. I couldn't tell where one thought ended and the next started.

dont mean to be rude but who goes further?? (I mean economically)

Britney Spears, a famous singer, very slutty and attention whore

or an Old Man who owns a small "mart" in a poor neighboorhood?

So Britney Spears will make more money. Doesn't change the fact that she's a whore who gets no respect and will utterly be forgotten in a few years.

Money isn't everything. You don't NEED to make millions a year. So long as I have enough money to buy what I need, and little extra to occasionally have fun, I'll be fine. I know that money isn't everything. I know that it sure as hell won't make me happy.

I disagree.

I think Britney is too huge to be forgotten - she has a horrible attitude and image, but she will not be forgotten in few years.

Oooh yes she will...it'll just take longer, but she won't last. Look at what happened to all the boy bands -- they were HUGE when they were famous, but what are they doing now?

I agree with milla

I'd rather be Britney Spears than the old man... and no it wouldnt change the fact that she's a whore and a ****, but just remember that she's a MILLIONARE whore ✅

sorry but yes, I am veryshallow ...no wait not shallow... I don't mind if I go out with a pretty girl or not as long as she's smart and funny, I am a big materialist

backstreet boys are not as half as famous as britney and many ppl still remember them 😬

See, I'm NOT materialist. So being a millionaire doesn't mean anything to me. Yeah, it'd be nice, but it's not necessary, and I could certainly live without it. And I definitely wouldn't want to get rich by being known as a **** and a whore. I have too much self respect to do something like that.

And backstreet boys were way more famous than Britney when they were big -- I was 12-13 then, so I'd remember. And right now, I know of barely anyone other than people my age who still remember who they are. Britney's popularity only skyrocketed when she gave up being innocent. Face it -- it's not her music that people like.

Time to crack out the whooping boots.

Yeah famous for what? Being on camera? Are you that desperate and unhappy that you would get famous by those means?

Work your way to the top? There's no 'work' involved. All the masses that are spellbound into watching all those reality shows, HELP the nobody get to the top. There's no work. If you wanted to WORK your way to the top, you would even be on a reality show in the first place.

Don't go Pauly Shore on me and I won't go "Rational Human Nature" on you, deal? Pfft...

Britney Spears WANTS to be famous and will do anything to get her fame. Including conning many little girls and boys (and old ones) into paying their money on her CD.

The old man didn't WANT to become famous. The old man had a vision, to own a mart. He achieved it. All without bending over and taking it up the anal passage for a large sum of money. Britney Spears would have been nowhere if she didn't wear a school girl costume followed by breast implants.

So you'd be a high class hooker, what's the difference? You'd be a whore in more ways than one.

Then that makes your opinion on integrity invalid. Because you'd be willing to sacrifice your morals, integrity and respect for a fat load of cash.

I remember them as a marketing gimmick that robbed countless girls of their money. Talentless nothings. Corporate little bitches who would probably blow Satan himself if he offered them a record deal. Just like Britney and you, I dare say.
