Where does evil come from?

Well there must had been a reason and it would be boring if the devil did not exist.

The more I think about it... evil comes from Women.

Well, or there was no reason as it is made up.

I agree, African children starving to death or dying of AIDS would have a far too dull life. Good going, God!!!

I am just saying.

Evil is a human concept created by humans

Actually, that isn't how it works. I don't have the verse on me, but there is one that says that those who don't have the option of learning of Christ are exempt from that specific rule.

PS. I'm typing this from a 3ds and its pretty hard...

Verse or it doesn't exist 😛

I've noticed that sometimes evil comes from self-denial, and sometimes it comes from self-indulgence, so basically who the **** knows amirite?

Romans 2 verses 14-15:

(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)

Evil is a matter of perspective. What one considers evil another may not.

There can be no good if there is no evil, there must be balance. Otherwise how would we be able to gain perspective on anything in life.

Whether evil is a human construct or not doesnt really matter.

I take it you don't hold to Objective Moral values...

Why would you say that?

Unless you can define evil, asking where it came from is meaningless. I think that evil can be different based on different moral systems; the "correct" moral system can be determined through logic. For me, I try and start with essential freedoms, and then follow utilitarianism as long as it doesn't compromise those freedoms.
