As for my armor, I was originally on crowd control but we got a penalty card and I was subbed in. Our leader called the shot. Not all of us are rockin BP armor, just me and Panther himself.
As for aiming the gun, Cyclops has a concussive beam cannon for eyes that's armed 24/7. I'm wrong to have my finger on a trigger against him? And I wouldn't have my gun aimed at his head, just at my side and at the ready.

the time it takes to raise the gun to fire is still much less than it takes Cyc to fire......
"100" was just a random high number, still...olympic runners barely hit the 20mph mark, regular joe is 10-12. i was right and didnt even know it. 🙂!

C.run up and liver punch a broad and then kick her over, before GreenArrow can finish the word "dont". If that isnt superhuman speed i dont know what is.

So me having my finger on the trigger isn't a big factor. The handshake, gas, and armbar are. I am a better hand to hand combatant than Cyke and I have absolutely no moral hang-ups about fighting dirty. Cyke is a boyscout with a concussive force cannon for eyes compared to me. I can get him off balance and get behind him from the handshake and catch him off guard, and with the gas being released when our hands meet, Cyke isn't going to be in the best of shape to counter my hold. VX is a nerve gas that disrupts your central nervous system and causes respritory paralysis and severe convulsions. Cyke will be coughing up his lungs and foaming at the mouth, he'll be in no shape to think straight and fire a full force beam at me in close quarters. Task, Bats and Temugin should be able to protect themselves (gas masks, ki shields, etc.). Canary is screwed because her abilities involve her inhaling and screaming.
I plug Cyke in his ribcage with 30-40 rounds of AP tracers and then open fire on Batman.
Oh, and I got the armor during the substitution for this battle. Look back on pg. 4.

it's all about the timing rather than the speed to take out Flash..... you know that someone at 10x human couldn't touch him normally..... DS planned it all out very precisely in order to do that, the Flash's own speed took him out
his first movement was to hit the girl.... Cap could do that before she finished her spell thing as well
as for GA's "don't".....Slade manages to speak two full sentences between the "D" and the "on't"..... which leads me to believe that, like many people do, he started to say something, knew he was too late straight away..... then paused before finishing the word...... i've done that plenty of times

Cyc knows all about you Castle, you're constantly plastered all over the news..... after his years of training with Wolverine your fighting skills are not impressive to him, you're on the ground before you can apply a tenth of the force you'd need to throw off his aim
he may not be able to counter the gas but he will be able to get off at least one additional shot before he's out of it.......Spider-Woman DS or whoever he aims at will be too busy to avoid his attack

I doubt it when Cyke will be violently convulsing. I can carry the armbar into a leg sweep on a gassed, subdued Cyke and the beem he pops off will be a stray. May even hit a teammate of his if I lean on him and point him in say Batman or Canary's directions.
Cyke is not as adept at combat as I am. He's good, but he's no Punisher. I've got S.E.A.L, Marine, and Ranger training and years of experience on him. You put us both in the Vietnamese jungle with just a knife and no guns or optic blasts and I'm carrying Cyke's corpse to Ho Chi Minh City.
Cyke's a dead man, and I'm gonna watch those videos of Jean and a big metallic russian afterwards.

IMHO it was referring to both mental speed and physica reflex/speed.
if it takes you X amount of time for you to raise your arms and to punch DS, it would tak 10x less than that ammount for him to raise his arms and punch you.
When he beat batman he said something on the lines of "if i didnt have superspeed and strength (meaning before he was superhuman) batman would have won."
not exact words but its the jist of it.
