[Punisher]
Actually, Long Pig is right. Invasion of one's mind is a hostile act. Parallel with borders being crossed. When Israelites are on Jordanian land uninvited/without permission, it's considered an act of aggression. It is even moreso with the human mind, doesn't get more intrusive than that. Same reason why espionage is considered hostile even though no violent action is necessarily taken.

i disagree, and if i disagree, how many of the crowd would as well? you will never know, its too much of a risk. if i figured out i was being mind controlled, id punch the nearest person. its a risk thats too large to take.any violence is just that. and not allowed. 🙂
I do not think that you would figure it out. You are saying its a risk, but if we don't try, so its better than nothing.
quelching violence with violence? it may work but its not allowed.
i could make everyone who is rioting stop with one gun. its violence and violence against the crowd is not allowed.
its a simple thing
according to the thread starter....no matter how effective or great the idea, if its violence, you cant use it on the crowd......and as even you agreed telepathy IS violence therefore, not allowed.
allowing one type of violence and prohibiting another would only happend in a biased argument, i dont think the thread starter is biased.

um... yeah ya did you debated that it wasn't
I am currently debating that it is not, but he said that I agreed that it was violence, which i do not. Think of it this way. He aren't hurting their minds, we are simply telling them what to do. If I say, "Go take out the garbage" is that violent?

Not their mind, their privacy, they aren't being violent towards the people themselves, just towards their space and privacy.
you admit here it IS violence, just not violent to their physical being, you admit it IS violent towards their space and privacy which means VIOLENT to their MIND.
any violence is not allowed when used on the crowd.
if sleeping gas is violent, telepathy is as well.
They both have the same effects.
If telepathy is allowed, sleeping as is allowed.

If you say it violently, then yes. 🙂

I know almost exactly what Jilliyun is going say. lol. She's gonna bite your head off for stating things like that is what is going to happen. I don't see how telepathy is the same a sleeping gas, maybe in your imagination, but certainly not in the logical world. I mean, the logical comic book world. Fine, I take back what I said, if it were in anyway violent, that would be the only way, but it isn't so blah.

did i state that I was going to say it violently no. Isn't telepathy more, telling you to do something in your head. If you keep debating that we can't just make them, then Psylocke can simply communicate with them telepathically and say that it is their 6th sense or concious or some bs like that.

No, I did.

Yes, telepathy is more violent than words, good to see you agree! 🙂

Yes, she could. But like you said, its B.S.

So not only is she going to invade their minds, but she's going to pretend to be their conscience? That would cause psychic trauma. When people hear voices in their heads that aren't their own it causes harm. Ever heard of schizophrenia?
