However, there is a bit of a disconnect betwen the recent announcement of collaboration and the news Hord links to, which is over a year and a half old.

So to sum up what we know:

1. Bioware have been working o an MMO for a while

2. Lucasarts say they are working with Bioware on 'something'

It's all a bit thin.

Yeah. We all know just how thin it is, sadly. But the best we can do as of not is speculate and hope which is what we've been doing for about 118 pages. But I still believe that the project that LucasArts has with BioWare is K3. Maybe I'm just extremely hopeful...but I have no better explanation...and I don't think anyone else does.

But that MMORPG could be a lot of things...I'm not even going to start summing up what games it could become.

Unfortunately, that's EXACTLY how it will happen. Ever since that a**hole Jim Ward decided to screw up the engine on SWG, it has been overrun by little shits.

Whilst all this is valid, there's a KOTOR MMO thread for pondering on that.

Ha yep. Well, Ushgarak is right. This is a k3 thread so lets stay focused. The bashing could be done on the thread with all of those "little shits."

Well, it's almost time for Mass Effect! November 20th and maybe, just maybe, LucasArts will shed some light on the whole Kotor issue. I doubt it but there is a hope that I plan on sticking to. I just refuse to believe that if information comes it'll be like a month after Mass Effect. I think it would make sense to have the news come relatively soon to keep all the momentum going.

well what else could it be that bioware are making in development with lucas arts ? it HAS to be kotor 3. FINGERS CROSSED

Could be an Indiana Jones game for all we know.

Lucasarts used to make them regularly, after all, and there is a new film coming.

no offense to indiana jones but alot of people will be pissed if its anything but a kotor game and nobody knows that like lucas arts and bioware.....

After playing my first Indiana Jones game on the Sega Genesis, I have a long standing hatred of it because I couldn't even get past the 2nd level and I had a horrible time getting past the first. So, suffice to say, I pray that Indiana Jones will go die in a car "accident."

But again, thats besides the point. I think that if it turns out to actually not be k3, many many more people will start asking questions. And big companies don't like people asking questions.

I doubt they would care that much.

Still, we shall see.

Has anyone purchased ME yet? If so, is it any good? What are the gfx like? Did BioWare hold up their good name?

It's sooo good. Well, the graphics are pretty good. The only problems I have with them are when you talk to people, some shadows or just face features are pixelated. The scope of the game is just astounding. You start off only going to like 2 places. It takes about 5 hours to beat them. Then you get your ship. HOLY SHIT!!!!!! SO MANY PLANETS!!!!!! Like 5 different solar systems/clusters (or whatever), like 2 or more planets inside the clusters. I don't even know if that's right. But judging from what I've seen there has to be about 15+ planets. Way more than kotor. Awesome. And what a great storyline. Just amazing.
