Its not JUST the clone, but also the Mandalorian line and a few other things as well. Lightsabers are in KOTOR too, that doesn't mean they suck. But the Ordo name extends well beyond KOTOR.
The game sucks, wasn't well thought through, and its "stylized" bubble player-tin can lightsaber ripoff will likely suck as well.

Here's a fun point for you, not that you'll be able to interpret it. The very nature of a cartoon is a reduction of reality. Thus, when an animated series is well, animated, I expect nothing less, and can appreciate things like hand painting on models.
There is a difference in a next gen videogame where the creators say "Well, everything is trying to be so realistic, so we wanted to do something different...", ie cop-out. So we have a game that looks like Wii people attacted Star Wars. But then again, the cartoonish reality really does fit the childish and obnoxious era, and I'm sure all the TORtards will rave about how their little bubble characters with lightsabers half the size of their body are so "edgy."

Lucas Animators have acknowledge the fact that they coudve made the show look like Beowulf, but they didn't. Want to know why? Because they wanted to stand out from the crowd, same thing that Bioware wants to do. And I never said I didn't like the show because of the look, anyone can tell you I'm a story man, and thus far I haven't been impressed by a gay Hutt or an annoying teenage novelty. Hell the only good episode was rookies simply because it didn't deal with the main cast or reoccurring plot lines, which is a shame since the creators said the series would be episodic.
As for the "becoming a fan remark" I would at least expect you to know where your name comes from, if not it just makes you look stupid in a "ditsy high school girl/passing fad" kind of way. Case in point if there were no KotOR there would be no Karen Traviss(or whoever) to steal the name Ordo and you would still be Alliance. Respect your history kid...

Are you always spoonfed? They didn't do realistic models because they didn't want to pay for them. I can put socks over my ears and wear plaid with stripes and parade around town. I look different. I stand out form the crowd. That doesn't mean I'm successful. If Bioware wanted to stand out, they could aim for a look that wouldn't please anyone over 5.

Captain Ordo was around long before Traviss developed the character. Besides, kid, Just because "Ordo" was mentioned in KOTOR doesn't mean KOTOR was good. In fact, I HATE the tin can suits in KOTOR. I don't think Canderous is a really cool character. I hate the Mandalorians in KOTOR. Ordo also has meaning to me outside of Star Wars, so I care very little what it meant in a shitty game when I have so much other content. I respect quality, which is something KOTOR doesn't have. Hitler gave us BMWs, but because BMWs can be cool, doesn't mean Hitler was a great guy to be respected. Same thing with my tax cut from GWB. So, I don't need to hear infantile and false arguments because you think you can put me in a bind. Even people who are not party to this discussion have pointed out that you're position is wrong. You chose ordo from clone wars. Thats why you chose it. That is the meaning you gave it as you name. And if some one has knowledge its from KotOR, who cares you named it after ordo from the clone wars and therefore that is what it stands for because its your name and you chose it for that reason, the is no "debate".
Different facts can be interpreted in different ways, but in order to have an understanding you need to figure out what each other is trying to say.

No way it's not even in the same league or overratedness of games like World of Warcraft (the popularity for that is absolutely ridiculous, and a little retarded) or the Halo series. It might be slightly overrated, but it still possesses probably the greatest storyline to ever appear in a jrpg. What ruins most of the Final Fantasys though is the command based gameplay, which is why the Star Ocean and Tales series of jrpgs (action based rpgs) are imo greater. Typically amazing storyline experience that you get from pretty much any jrpg, as well as pretty amazing battle based gameplay (Star Ocean Till The End of Times is by far the best to appear in any jrpg).
