well... i think ppl have been giving obsidian a bunch of undeserved crap, cuz they actually had a great storyline, and it was a good game... they were just underbudgeted, undermanned, and with too little time, as people wanted KOTOR 2, and LucasArts pressured them to finish the game early.... sooo.... i have no problem with Obsidian doing it, cuz they are.... but i would love to see them refinish KOTOR 2

Danouo, I totally agree, Obsidian should release an official patch that gives us the complete story line. However, I doubt they will for two reasons:

1.) TG is already working on the restoration mod, and I have no doubts that Obsidian is fully aware of that, and I do believe that Kotor 3 will come out shortly after the Restoration Mod is complete, whenever that may be.

2.) As I said before TG is working on the restoration, and the most cost effective, and consumer appeasing thing for Obsidian to do is to focus on ONE game at a time, and actually FINISH the game. Dividing their resources to a restoration and a continuation would be foolish, and it would probably result in another K2.

tru that... and Gizka is actually allied with Obsidian, as they have fixed bugs that have been released in official patches......... but man, i am dying for the droid planet and the genoharadan quests

Do you guys think there will be a preveiw for kotor 3 at the next E3?

lol... well... i would hope that this game would be alot like KOTOR... but with free combat........ but err... kotor was made on a 36 month schedule and still had some cut content, same with KOTOR 2, they had a 36 month basis but did it in 13months... soooo... as i said before, i would rather not hear any news about it and have a great, finished, polished, bugfree game than another KOTOR2 type situation

That's true except for the bit about the good storyline.

i know it would never happen or be practical but i think it would be cool if they made the kotor series into movies !!!!

e3 is done with, theres no more e3, bye bye, finished, finito so there will be no preview of it. Most likely, Obsidian will produce it.

well... i really found all of KOTOR 1 and 2's missing content, just Wikipedia their names, and the cut content is at the bottom.. its really not anything big... but it certainly would have KOTOR 2 seem much better, and i also found that everyone loved KOTOR... i mean... for 3 years after it was made it won so many things, like Best Storyline, Best All Around, Best lots of stuff.... and i love IT

well it DID win video game of the year in 2003 and was declared better than halo 1 or 2

it has even gone platmum now

that next gen vid came out like 5 months ago....

that trailer kinda sucked, the scenes were too quick, and the music was way to loud, you couldn't hear most of the people talk, but it looks ok, i hope it comes out about as much as fable: the lost chapters did, which was like less than half the original fables cost

uhh...you fight with revan and either steal the knowledge of the true sith and destroy the republic and kill revan, or u and revan kill the true sith and destroy them, and to start you go around planets finding information about where revan is, meet up with carth, bastilla, the exhile, T3-M4, HK 47, Atton, HandMaiden and blah blah blah (i know i know Kreai said the fates of Atton and Handmaiden had nothin to do with the exhile, but she's a traitorous **** so forget that) and ya, you, revan and the exhile team up and whoop everyone because you are all level 30+ haha

uh...yeah...i do like that whole idea, but you have to keep in mind that in KotOR I, u were Revan. So the character changed according to how you wanted him to look. So that Revan in KotOR III would have to match your old Revan so the games would have continuity, increasing the whole idea of KotOR III tying all the games together. Or you could just say screw all that and go with a definate-looking Revan. 🙂
