Well I have alot of questions for kotor III...I even have my own little plot for the story!
Plot: You play as the jedi exile. You go to the unknown regions to find revan (the canon ending of kotor II) you come across destroyed republic ships which have been there for awhile, while venturing through space. You land on an unknown region planet (say for example like bakura) and you walk for abit...etc...(would be a cutscene) and you come across this massive sith temple...You get spotted and have to fight all the sith..in the area. You defeat them and then you go inside and find revan dueling a sithlord guy...You surpise both and the sithlord shoots force lightning at you. You dodge the lightning and while he shoots lightning revan cuts his arm off then decapitates him. I have no idea what happens after. But im guessing you'd go across the unkown regions finding more about the sith.
NOw here are my questions.
If kotor III does have new characters and includes revan and the jedi exile. They will have to make a voice guy for revan. AND a canon appearance, voice (and most important) a name for the jedi exile?
(Hopefully they make the jedi exile the chick with the blonde hair loose.)
Anyway I hope it picks off after kotor II. In a way it's sorta good that they don't mention revan as much as they should, but atleast you find some answers out. But not knowing as much makes you want to play kotor 3...Does it not?
If anyone has the offical site for kotor III please send.

Why does everyone want a canon Revan, that is ridiculous. The "canon" revan would be him with this helmet and robes on like Dan said. The only problem that i could see is the voice as someone already said.
Lets all do what Cyrith did and post your ideas for Kotor 3 and lets just forget about the release date until it is announced 🙂

My idea: Revan comes back as a F***ing Bada$$ and destroys the ghost of Kreia with force crush. (I always loved that power in KotOR II). And then you and him travel around the universe killing anyone who looked even slightly like her.
That's about as far as I got in a minute.
Oh...But then you have to meet up with all your past party members (too lazy to list all of them) and you all go on this master quest killing Kreia look-alikes.
(I think by now you get the point that I completely hate Kreia....mainly because she killed Master Kavar. He was soooo amazing at life!!)
well... errr... extreme Kreia hatred aside..... i think a good storyline would be where u cannot play as people in other games.... i mean, what game has *ever* had it where u can play as the same "Main" character as another game... so that rules out playing as Revan or the Exile... but hell, Obsidian might do some crap that is completely random and unexpected... ya never know...
Obsidian's work in KotOR II was not as good as Bioware in KotOR I but they still do deserve respect because it was still a fantastic game. I think Bioware should take control because they would turn this around and do something no body could have forseen (such as you being Revan). If Bioware did this game, it would probably have another outstanding twist such as that. By the way, that was the only time my brother ever jumped up and yelled at the tv in disbelief. 😆
Yeah but if Obsidian does work on this (I dont even know if anything was confirmed because I haven't exactly kept myself posted on this even though I should have), I would not be satisfied for a final game coming out as KotOR II did.
As for the same character thing, I agree. I just think it'll be hard to make Revan and the exile appear in the third one. If it was just Revan, you could perhaps get away by keeping his sick robe's hood down, covereing his face, although, lets face it, how exciting would that be? Or...you could have him do something like with Darth Vader. You could have him get into a horrible accident and have him put in a life preservation suit of some sort. So that would take away from the entire thing of the conitnuity of Revan.
But having the exile appear to, there will have to be more than one solution... I don't know. I'm just throwing some ideas around.

uhhhhh...lets see, a bunch? Like halo, prince of persia, etc. Just because any another RPG that i can think of hasnt done, doesn't mean that KOTOR 3 cant do it, its called a breakthrough. I hope that if you get a 360 with backwards compatability and KOTOR 1 and KOTOR 2 you can get Revan and the Exile as the same level you ended the first two games with. They can join your party at those levels. It would be better to play as familiar characters because questions will be answered and there will be more options that make sense in the game.
well... im just saying that it is EXTREMELY difficult to continue an RPG wit hthe same character, cuz all of the variables.... unless they did the "oh i lost my memory" bs again... and there is no official date for KOTOR 3, it is pretty clear that either Bioware or Obsidian (most likely the latter) is doing it, and it was PLANNED for mid 2007... but that was posted back in mid 2006 or so
but wouldn't it be better kotor 1 and 2 dont really tie in together. So maybe kotor in it self isnt a saga but a series of stories.
my idea of a story is a preaquel answering the questions of why the sith left were did they go, and maybe see what happened to revan(armor and all) in unknown space. i looked it up and saw that after the war of exar kun the sith dissapear all in a way thatnon nerds could understand.
this to me would make the game more exciting and reach out to a wider range of gamers.more popularity more of a chance that they will make more games.

but for a charictar maye be a sith or a mandalorian will have the choice to fight for the republic or for the sith throughout the game.but you'll know at the end of the game what happens to the sith and revan and all that fun stuff.
p.s isnt bioware making like 2 other games right now
Friend of mine told me that, Like it has been stated on the forums. Obsidion may be hiding work progress and release dates so they arnt rushed. But they have had so much time to work on it. Let's hope the game drives us insane. Bad thing is all SW games when they come out are basically 80-100 dollers. But hey its worth it!
