I just thought it would be cool, maybe for Kotor 4 then, when they invent games that are very long, but take small space on your computer. JK.

Yeah Maybe when they bring out the flash drive technology for big drives this might be possible but for now we stuck with crappy normal magnetic disks which churn and yell at ppl when they get full lol.

As for the game i totally agree with the "keeping the goal of the game" for both light and dark. it just makes it more interesting finding out why the plot is the same for both light and dark, and to see what they both get out of the different outcomes, that would determine to fate of the galaxy.

I jsut got live...so that means that I'll be spending less time here, talking, using up space that could be used for better purposes =D

lol... I think that these last few posts have brought up alot of points.... but i think the one untackled point is how in the hell are they going to conclude a series which has already been 14 years long so far?

Depending on when the game takes place, Revan and Bastila could be aged, and the exile could be around the age of Master Kavar (hopefully not as old as Kreia ; ) This could pose a major problem and i think that 14 years already is more than enough time for Revan to have died, and maybe even the Exile

The series will not be able to do that, too many complaints and hate mail, everybody loved Revan and the Exile (more so Revan I believe), they can't have him dead in KOTOR 3 and not say what happens to him at least...it just won't go well for the developers

They can say what happened to him... but i REALLY doubt that you will be able to play as Revan

Why not?

How would they choose what force powers and skills you get? Some might complain saying "But I had force storm!1!!!111" and start jumping around screaming...

A cool plot would be that Revan was battling in the unknown regions when his ship was hit and crashed on an ice planet, the only way to save himself was to be frozen in time and to send out a distress call on a republic wave band, leaving you an officer on board a republic cruiser (with force potential) heading out a rescue mission, revan becomes a Kreia type mentor etc etc. once you have been trained by him, cameo roles from past jedi and characters guide u on course with a head on collision with this new threat.

The story line at the beginning would be this new threat has entered the known galaxy because revan failed and a secret search is underway to find out what happened to revan. he is needed so badly because only he knows there weakness, so when revan is found it tips the balance back in your favour, but you will still either get the chance to save the republic once more or join forces with the threat and lead the attack

But, revan cant fail. Basically this entire series is revolving around him and if he fails, then eveything goes down the drain.

The entire series isn't about him, its about the events he caused, thats why KOTOR 2 was based on the Exile (who was created as a result of revan's choices) and not Revan. And Revan can fail, he already failed in converting Malak to good.

Ther has to be a new character, its more fun, its more fun, they have to invent new story for the new guy and make it match Kotor1 and Kotor2 logically.

I agree with that as well, you people finally realize that Revan cannot be the primary character. There is too much controversy over all of his traits, I figure it best to just bring in the same voice actor that did all of his "battle-sayings" IF Revan ever talks to you in K3

I never said that Revan should be the primary character, i said that he could be in your party, but i realize my mistake now.

Bioware could have have made it much easier on themselves if they had Revan say things instead of just selecting them. But I guess for space reasons or sacrificing something else for it or something they didn't even try. Maybe they didn't even know how to institute it into the game although I think that would just be a stupid excuse.

Hey! Well we all know now that Bioware are making it and are announcing it AFTER mass effect has come out in July...hopefully main release date December......well anyway on with the game, people have been saying that they want to see Revan AND the Exile in...but somehow I dont think we will see neither...I mean Revan and the Exile are both custom characters so how could they create it!? it would just be impossible! I think that you will start off making your own custom character and sent on a mission by the jedi council to find the fate of Revan...and on the way, you find out about the Exile, because if you think about it the galaxy doesnt know about the Exile because he/she isnt famous and the only people who did were in the jedi council and they were killed by Kreia......soooo while finding Revans fate which would lead to the climax...you would just find out abowt the Exiles journey and stuff!!! Also...going into the unknown regions would be GREAT! I mean no game or movie has ever been there so this is a great potential of creating new planets and things like that! Anything could be in the unknown regions!!!---ps sorry for the essay lol

I can't agree with the first sentence (wherever that ends). Bioware is probably NOT, i repeat NOT, Making KOTOR 3, it is probable that Obsidian will develop it using the Mass Effect engine created by Bioware. And all of these newb storylines are getting boring, lets leave it to the homie who will deliver us from boredom through KOTOR's awesome storyline.

well, according to that entire article I typed out for you guys, it said most likely Bioware because Obsidian is doing other shit and we have no idea what the Jade Empire/kotor team has been doin since their last release.

I agree... but I remember that Bioware will be realllllyyyyyyyyyy loaded down with Mass Effect.... I could almost imagine Bioware and Obsidian working together like the old days....heh, funny thought

I don't care who makes it, just that they make it a great game. And NO rushing from Lucasarts, those bastards, ruined allot of games that had potential.

KOTOR 2 still isn't too far gone, TSLRP (The Sith Lords Restoration Project) still has the potential to revitalize K2
