I have a theory that I want your thoughts on...if you go onto the Bioware website you will notice that on the dropdown bar of games...it says 'games in development' and under that catogory it has the option of clicking on 'next gen games' however this link cant be clicked on!! After looking through other forums ive put together a theory that Bioware is secretly deloping KOTOR3 as Xbox 360 (nxt gen)...and reason why they havent announced it is because they want all eyes on mass effect...I reckon once Mass Effect is out, then we would here from Kotor 3, my guesses...Kotor 3 will be announced in July and possible release for late 2007 early 2008!!! Anyway your thoughts about this...oh and by the way there have been several leakages about this, I would put a link up but **junior member** lol
There is one thing wrong with your theory though; Obsidian has the same thing. They call it an "unannounced RPG", but what you are forgetting is that EVERY game company is going to have something that they are working on. So that means I could go to any other RPG-making company (can't think of any) and I will most likely find the same thing. We are all forgetting that it could be ANY rpg company, who ever said that it was even going to be Obsidian or Bioware???
P.S. The thing on the Bioware page is MOST LIKELY Jade Empire 2 buddy. I'm rooting for Obsidian, it seems more likely.
haha. I f*cking love the ds too but I only have castlevania and mariokart. I always play download play with my friends tho and its f*ckign amazing. Shigeru Miyamoto is f*cking God. Oh. And it won't be any rpg company because I know for a fact that Bethesda won't be because their tied up in rogue warrior, the Oblivion expansion and other rpgs. And other rpg companies are in practically the same boat. But yeah, any companies theoretically could be making it but I highly doubt any one that hasnt made an sw game before would be doing this because they would want people with some other experience. Just a thought...
Indeed, that is a good point as well. But then again, there has actually been no general trend in the makers of KOTOR games next to the fact that they were employed by LucasArts. Yet again, there is a high likelihood LucasArts will want people with experience. Oh, and about DS on KOTOR 1, the single BEST part so far has been making the Matales and Sandrals kill eachother EVEN after I gave them evidence that neither had any thing against the other. Oh my god it was great. (Masters: "We trust you will uphold the ways of the Jedi Me: (Lie:"Oh, Yes Great Jedi Masters, I will uphold the ways of the pure light"😉
Oh, NEWS!!! Obsidian isn't doing a sequel at the moment (in other words, they arent doing K3, but they might later (unlikely). This leaves Bioware........ and about every other RPG making place on Earth. Actually.... since it looks like Bioware is all tied up with Mass Effect, and on Wikipedia they only talk about new games for the DS and PS3. And Obsidian isn't doing KOTOR 3... it leaves me wondering, have they even started on it?!?!!?! Maybe they're just ultra secret.... but i think they may have not even started on it.
