KOTOR III

Thats what KotFR would have to do with, the formation of the Galactic Republic, the recent discovery of hyperspace, and above all, fighting the first Sith. Maybe thats too early, and it should just be a book, but im still interested. But you are right, we should focus on KOTOR, and what happened to Revan and the Exile.... but man, i do wonder about the start of all the Star Wars and shtuff

damn microsoft, havin' to make #3 on the 360. I hope I can buy a 360 by the time the game comes out.

dont bother with a 360. ud be better to save 4 a ps3. my 360 ruins the disks on some of my games and jerks about quite alot. tons of other reports of problems too. didnt mean 2 burst ur bubble. oops

ps3 is way too expensive for what it offers. I own a 360, and I have had ZERO problems with it, it doesn't affect my disks, it doesn't "jerk about a lot," I don't know what is wrong with yours, but you should consider sending it in to Microsoft.

Overall, PS3 is the best console, but Overall, it is better to get xbox 360 now, been longer out in the market, all the glitches fixed, the same for on line market, has more games and its cheaper, give PS3 some time and then judge them.

And lets not discus this here, its not console versus thread, lets focus on KOTOR.

ok. I actually wana say some things about consoles. mainly because you cant stop me from saying it anyway. The wii owns everything because of its low cost parts and small size and its amazing fun factor. The ps3 is too xpensive for right now and they're thinking way to far into the future. 360 is average. That's all I'll say.

That link to the video didn't really tell me much about what will come. Can you inform me a bit? Oh and I also love what they say at the end...something I'd say. Coming when its done.

Okay, as I will restate, consoles is not an issue in this post named "KOTOR 3?" which means this post will only really talk about the XBOX 360, so please, I beg you, no more console-fanboy crap.

TSLRP (The Sith Lords Restoration Project for newbies) is a project set out to restore the content that Obsidian left out of the game as a result of pressuring to release the game early. As TSLRP stated early on in their WiP notes, the content was about 60% complete, but some of it was completely unscripted. So far, they have done an amazing job on the alternate endings and the HK Factory. They also resolve all the issues that fans send in. So far they will not release each build to anyone but their faithful beta testers. Another team (currently shut down) called team bantha, set out to restore the M4-78 Droid Planet. They encountered problems in their team, but above all, that much of the materials they were given were incomplete. Many voicelengths were missing and same with the modules themselves. They were able to recover a few voice files, and the people from the planet, but too much was just left out.

Ok. But I'm confused...that team....another restoration your talking about? or a team in the game> or...I dunno. Maybe I'm just confused cus its so late

he is saying... the GAME restoration i.e filling in the huge gaps in the plot etc...

Yah... i believe I have figured out why KOTOR 2 is more addicting, its because KOTOR will give you everything, but because of the missing content in KOTOR 2, you may feel like you missed something so u replay and replay.

I think its because k2 had more abilities (feats, force powers) and if you played k1, it'd feel like you were downgrading. And you already know what happens so you don't play for plot. And of course, the missing content. And you want to like figure out all about each of the characters and get them to tell you all they can so you do know more.

I agree with that, abilities were another thing i was thinking of. Each of the 6 prestige classes are very different, and thats what made it fun, cuz being a Jedi Master, you could get everyone to love you, but if you were a Jedi.... Swordmaster or w/e, Handmaiden could teach you alot. So really, there are 12 seperate storylines, 6 light and dark prestige classes for male, and the same thing for female, each ending a little bit differently and playing differently

Theres more on top of that....depending on like which planets you go to first and you can also try to become like a grey jedi like kreia. I tried that but I ended up being evil so i dunno...

maybe KotOR 2 is so compulsive because it is not very satisfying
i expected nihilus to be someone important like another bioware twist however all he was was an easy sith lord who had to invent his own language because he couldnt speak basic..
