KOTOR III

I completely disagree... have you ever seen a woman out for revenge? That is some scary sh1t. In fact, I would be more terrified by a woman Jedi than a male Jedi. And plus if you hit on her, you wouldn't get slapped, you would get stabbed. Hard. In the Chest. With a Lightsaber. But beside that, I think they need to decide how to show Revan, and only "show" him. Don't make him playable, cuz it will piss too many people off. I really wouldn't mind Revan being shown as having one of the generic faces, and same with the Exile. I just don't want them to say if they were Consulars, Guardians or Sentinels.

It doesn't really matter to me; male or female, Revan was an awesome character.

Eh. yeah I see what you're sayin. It would be pretty scary. I mean, all the girls in my school are already insane, one with a lightsaber would DEFINITELY not be good for anybody

😂

ahhhh.... you see it now! Thank You!

They are going to have to give Revan and Exile's backstory someday, why not it be now and in the game itself? They should set Revan's and Exile's face in game while they can.

And a solution for Revan and Exile's class: give them a special class of there own.

well thats the thing, kotor 3 might be about peicing up the jigsaw puzzle, finding out revans backstory and then finally finding the location but we will never actually see Revan or the Exile...if you see what I mean...

kind of like what the did in k2 with the hologram and bastilla on korriban. You would hear about them but never actually see them. But you will find out that their presence was crucial to the story.

They have to include them some day, they cant drag the series on and on, with always adding a new character, searching for the guy, who was searching for a guy, who was searching for a guy.................................................., who was searching for Exile, who was searching for Revan.

Wouldn't that be the smart thing to do, though - to draw out the series for as long as possible? Well, it might not be the smartest thing, but it seems to be the trend with most video-game franchises....

i agree with that. they all just want more money, greedy bastards.

KOTOR is planned to be a trilogy, and if they tried to drag it out, they know that they would most likely make less money. For every new game they make, they need a development team, a support team, and lots of money to keep the games going. If they attempted to drag it out, they might actually lose money, and they are probably aware of this.

On another note, the idea of Revan and the Exile having their own special classes is quite genius. Both Revan and the Exile would have been through so much more in their adventures than most Jedi, so it might be best that they have a special class, or none at all.

What about we play revan and the exile's backstory? Imagine, for example, a little Revan arriving on the Academy and progressing his training. Meanwhile, while your character develops, the mandalorian wars began. You can play amazing battles and stories from Revan destroying the mandalorians, beat mandalore and went looking for the star forge. Then, the game would end wth the beggining of the jedi civil war...

That's an interesting idea, but it would leave the K2 story ongoing. They need to finish that first with the same KOTOR formula, but no doubt they would flesh out Revan's story in another way.

However I do think if that were to happen, the KOTOR engine or formula wouldn't work; it's just too constricting for something like a fullscale intergalactic war, and the strengths of the system would involve Revan recruiting Jedi with mysterious backstories all over again.

No to say it isn't a interesting idea, but I mixed genre game might be more interesting.

It is an interesting idea, but alot of people, including myself would be pissed off to wait for 2-3 years just to hear about Revan's masters.

WHat part about Revan's Masters? You lost me there.

Oh, I meant like Revan's youth and being taught by his Masters

That could be KOTOR 4, a back story, like the PT.

If there was a game of Revan's backstory, I'd certainly hope it left familiar ground with his Masters, or his Jedi training, and simply followed him and his trusty sidekick Malak as Jedi Knights briefly and during the Mandalorian Wars.

The more likely solution to Revan's backstory would be another set of comics.

I don't now. What about games like Dynasty Warriors? Any semblance of originality has long been bled from the series, and yet people continue to buy what is (essentially) the same game time and time again.

I think the whole Revan's backstory idea interesting, but I agree that it probably wouldn't work out for various reasons. I also wouldn't want a cool character like Revan to be bastardised like those in the P.T. were.
