God, AC, everyone is just trying to point out that every child is born with equal potential, be it spiritually, mentally or emotionally. I believe that it's the environment we're born into that segregates us.
Yeah I know, and I'm pointing out that they're not.
Environment is the influence.
Brains are what allow us to learn and surpass.

Precisely.
That's why (slightly off topic, forgive me) I believe in supporting musicians by buying the albums and not downloading. Because in a world where our "leaders" are screwing us over and robbing us, we shouldn't do it to the artists actually trying to make a difference.

AC, would you agree with downloading their work, then purchasing at a later date?
Touchy area.
I don't personally do that, I prefer to wait to hear the album as it was intended to be heard by the artist. They are doing me the honour of letting me be a part of their work by indulging it so I take it upon myself to show them respect in return. However if you buy it after downloading, then fine. I just don't see the point, saps all the fun out of putting the CD in for the first time and hearing new music.

I will usually be quicker to buy albums from people on independent labels before I'd buy one from a major band, because I think the bands see more of the money on independent labels. For a normal mainstream label I think the rate is somewhere around 52 cents per track of each album sold.
It's not about how much of the money they see. If everyone has that mentality and continue to download, bands are gonna go broke and not be able to tour.
If you plan to buy the albums at some point, it's fine. If not, I have an extreme distaste for that. I just have too much respect for artists to rob them.
EDIT: For the record, I did say I didn't want to get off topic. Just answering questions.
