seen it already.. I think they either limited tira's moves.. or the person playing her sucked horrificly..

I think it's definitely the player. Not one of those moves looked like even simple combos beyond tapping the same button again and again. The animations look really fluid, though, and the destructable arena looked cool, but got a little overboard with all the tiles blowing up again and again.

...tiles blowing up!? are you saying that the arenas will be interactive?

I really wished they let a pro soul calibur'er demo the game rather than some 10 year old punching the A button over n over -_-

according to the official site siegfried,nightmare,kilik, and talim are being added to the list of returning characters.

If Seigfried is again separate from Nightmare, I feel sorry for whoever Nightmare has claimed next.

I thought nightmare was always seigfried no matter what?

Heh.. cuz I was reading their "soul calibur Lore".. and it basically said this kings son went to seek the sword of salvation and returned with bloodlust.. so he must be constantly waging war with himself and soul edge

Seigfried was one of the characters in the original Soul Blade. However, at some point after the period of the game (when he succeeded in gaining Soul Edge), the evil of the sword claimed his mind. He woke every morning to find himself among the corpses of those he had slaughtered in his sleep. This continued until Nightmare not only stole his nights, but his days, as well, and Seigfried disappeared. In SCII, the end of Nightmare's story showed that Seigfried's mind reawakened when he came upon the rest of Soul Edge, and he destroyed the evil blade, and Nightmare along with it.

Obviously, someone has revived Nightmare, and Seigfried's mission will be to eliminate Nightmare again.

but how can he literally be fighting his evil self?... are they saying that soul edge has retained seigfrieds dark persona and given it a physical form? o_o
