Soul Calibur III

That whole thing always confused me. I thought that Seigfried was Nightmare's son for awhile there. OI! The confusingness of it all 😖

nah theyre just two of the same people. the evil one and the original somewhat good one.

now that i think about it, wont siegfried lose power since he isnt teamed up with the soul edge anymore? i would love it or him to get weaker and slower(i hate it when people praise that loser)

Erm...but didn't Seigfried fight Nightmare in SC2? I mean I remember it..and wasn't there even a "movie" sequence about it? 😐

*shrugs* more than likely. he was consumed by the soul edge during two so that seems most likely.

Weren't they both in SC1 at the same time though?

Okay, wasn't Nightmare his dad? Seigfried killed Nightmare in SC1 and took the sword. Thus becomming Nightmare..

that official site posted one page back, had a picture of a 2 handed huge soul calibur piercing the eye of soul edge.. so perhaps in the 3rd.. seigfried finally reclaims his soul... /shrug o_o

but he should lose power. not only sotryline wise but also gameplay wise. i hate that guy soooo much.

"as a huge fan of soul calibur, lemme help however I can. I went to e3 and spent about a quarter of the time at the sc3 booth, heres what I know:
every single character, excluding the exclusives (heihachi link spawn) will be returning including edgemaster and berserker...
a few characters are being radically redesigned, especially berserker who looks like an actual knight now
siegfried is free of the soul edge, cleansing himself of the evil, while zasalamel is some part of a ritual which reanimates nightmares armor, so siegfried and nightmare are separate characters now
raphael won the soul calibur 2 tournament and is evil in sc3, some sort of vampire or something i wasnt quite clear on
kilik looks sweet, redisigned like the first sc kilik but edgier
zasalamel is much faster than asta, one of the more graceful types
asta has had his costumes all rearranged, with his main one having his skin be a reddish color while another makes his face look like a hammer kind of
tira is poetry in motion, one of the only people i used at e3....very fun, voldo like with unpredictability, but also quite graceful (one of her unblockables which I accidentally figured out is back, back square and triangle, fyi)
the stages are phenomenal, though all displays were on hi-def so that couldve swayed me a bit"

I'm...not sure where he got that from.. only tira and mitsurugi were useable at the E3 floor from what Ive been told.. o_o..

it does sound accurate however.. and having seen the new kilik.. its definately good to be a soul calibur fan 😄

I expected Xianghua to return, as she's the one whose fate is most closely tied to Soul Calibur (at the end of Soul Blade's story, Xianghua was the owner of Soul Calibur).

What I didn't expect was that Raphael would become some sort of supernatural being. (vampire or something?) I mean, his story DID end with him gaining Soul Edge, but he had planned to give it to nobles to cause internal strife...

I'm excited about the return of Hwang, because I really liked him in the original and it'll be good to get an update.

14 character was confirmed as playable, plus 8 char(maybe) ... Yunsung, Sophitia, Seung Mina, Xianghua, Maxi, Cervantes, Charade, and Yoshimitsu they would be playable too ??? if true, total is 25 (or more) do u know who's 3 new character is??? (but i think is Hwang, censored guy with talim in soularchive.jp, and...........)

as for the characters.. they need edgemaster.. charade is pure crap
and chances are they're going to be bringing back hwang.. but perhaps he's much older looking (judging by mitsurugi)
