and thast the same point i was argueing earler. JLA will win, no doubt, but i just do not think its going to be a landslide, and YES! their is a bit of silver surfer underestimation going on here, perhaps some JLA too, but none the less thier is Surfer underestimation. Post Annihalation surfer is rediculous, and surfer was allready rediculous
and thier is a grand illusion here that thor will be ko'ed in miliseconds

The fact that thread is actually 45 pages says Surfer isn't being underestimated at all. Thor is hardly that big a player in the minds of most. I don't know what JLA lineup we're using now but several people in the Big 7 could stall or beat him solo. Everyone still arguing is basing their stuff on Surfer.
The only thing I've been arguing for all this time is not that Marvel Team gets a win, only that it won't be a walk in the park for the JLA. The distinguished opposition doesn't seem to want any of that. Hence, the 40+ pages.

I agree that Surfer could and likely would take out some of them.
The new Surfer is too hard to debate. So far he's beaten Ravenous which he did pre-power up and blew up a planet which he also did pre-power up. The next time we see him he's getting smashed albeit by some Galactus level being.
Still, the majority of these 40 pages are pre-Annihilation Surfer.

anyhow surfer and thor ARE being underestimated.
Non jobbing full potential surfer, and full potential, exotic powers and all Thor COULD have a shot at winning.

Godwave, Speed force, T-vo, Most powerful weapon in the universe, Fernus, etc....

Exactly. Thor and Silver Surfer are very powerful but against the combined might of Superman, Wonderwoman, the Flash, Martian Manhunter, any Green Lantern and Batman they lose. Thor vs Superman can go either way, throw in Wonderwoman and Thor is going down. Or even better let MM mess up his mind. Surfer would be more of a problem, but Flash and GL will at least hold out till Thor is taken care of. Lets not negelct the teamwork factor. Bats doesn't have to participate, when he sees the scope of these guys powers he'll relegate himself to the sidelines and work on tactics. With a mind link with J'onn and the rest of the team Thor and Silver Surfer are put down for the count. JLA 7/10

i agree absolutely -- ss and thor could certainly do damage -- ss in particular. in the forum thor's lack of speed is big. in a comic things would be lot different no doubt. but even still, ss is NOT to be taken lightly. but to say marvel in a curbstomp is assinine . . .
if thot was smart, he'd give the hammer over to ss. ss with mjollnir would be a VERY interesting character . . .
