Well basicly it just speculation, but since Thor posses abilities far above that of any normal asgardian and since his the son of Odin, it would make sense that he is gifted with a portion of the Odin force by birthright making him above the rest, not to mention Gae the mother.
I just find it hard to beleived that Thor with a wave of Sersi's hand transformed him into a frog. Now i can understand Ashema the listener turning Thor into a frog but completely diff. power level 1 is an Eternal the other is a Celestial.

The reason his abilities as so much greater than those of the normal Asgardian is for the simple reason as you stated; his father is Odin, and his mother is Gaea. Not to mention that Mjolnir is stated to be one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. Unless stated on panel we cannot just assume that Thor posses the odinpower by birthright. 😬

As for being turned into a frog, we are both familiar with the highs and lows of comics.

Again just my speculation, since Odin/Odin power history isnt very clear so we can only assume. I think Thor posses a portion of it, since what makes Odin, Odin is the Odin force and Thor is Odins Son... Just my 2 cents.

Off topic I know but in mythology wasn't Gaea part of the Greek or Roman Patheon, how did she end up as Thor's mom?

I dont think Gae belongs to those pantheons.... I forgot got have to digg it up.

but not really stated how Gae and Odin meet/dated then mated but maybe during war of the gods.

Odin told Gaea that he desired a heir that was greater than Asgard itself, and so he chose Gaea as Thor's mother.

Geae is supposed to be the mother of all the Gods. But any who, Diana is Geae's heart. And thor is Geae's son. They are Two sides of the same coin. Thor is a God war, Diana was/is the avatar and one time Goddess of Truth. I wonder what a guantlet with the two of them would be like?

Could you Imagine him having all of thier powers and strength comined. a beast. If WW could pick up Storm breaker, She would be a beast. But I have a question, if thor's powers are innate to him, and he only uses the hammer to focus, then how come everyone else who picks up his hammer or has one like it, get the same powers just by picking it up?
