The three largest land-owners in England are the Queen, the Church of England and Trinity College, Cambridge. 😄 dunno how or why i know that 😖
i dont think anyone really knows why Friday the 13th is said to be bad luck but there are many theories.
some of the more common theories link it to a significant event in Christian tradition said to have taken place on Friday, such as the Crucifixion, Eve's offering the apple to Adam in the Garden of Eden, the beginning of the Great Flood are all said to have happened on friday the 13th.
prob more theories but i dont know them.
There are ten human body parts that are only three letters long name them.
I came across an article in the paper that gave some information in the direction T.M. was already going. The Last Supper was attended by Christ and 12 apostles, 13 persons, and J.C. and Judas died on the same friday. It's a bit shady, so I guess there are more clues to the Friday the 13th legend from other believes to add up to the superstition about it.
Never the less, I'm not bothered by it, no friday the 13th has ever sucked out of the ordinary for me. I actually made that date work for me on a occasion: once there was a friday the 13th just the day before valentine's day and I made a girl a 'Happy Friday the 13th card', instead of a valentine's. It showed a couple just coming out of a fancy mirror-store, the girl holding a hearthshaped mirror and looking up to the guy lovingly. But at the end of the street a gang of black cats were setting up a ladder over the sidewalk, along with a trip-wire and some of them ready to cross the street in front of the happy couple.
The effect would be that they would breake a mirror while walking under a ladder while black cats are running up and down before them, on a friday the 13th!
She totally loved the card...
