And...he won't even know how it's happening because Magneto doesn't even need to be on the battlefield. What's Superman going to do when his body turns against him?
Nothing Mags can do to Supes will hurt him? Dr. Polaris, who was busy hurting HIMSELF, did PLENTY of damage to Superman. Imagine someone an order of magnitude more powerful and more intelligent than Dr. Polaris, FOCUSED on killing Superman. There's nothing in the world that would save him. Nothing.
That Galactus thing is pure PIS. Galactus has broken through Thanos shield. Even with that. It doesnt stop Mags from being moved. He can get thrown into space to a distance where his powers are ineffective against supes. It would only take maybe 2 hits to punch mags into the sun. Can mags even think of anything to do before supes lands 2 well aimed super strong punches?
Magneto just has to think - Superman moves much faster than Mags can think. Not much of a factor.
By your terms...in a sneaky battle. Superman heat visions Mags from miles away or moves the earth to a different angle killing all life including mags in the process. See how ridiculous battle scenarios can get?

Sorry - board rules state that battles are done within the context of a character's personality. Therefore your scenario is out - Superman doesn't kill, and certainly not all life on earth.
Besides, you don't have to get crazy with the scenarios for Magneto to win. Magneto drains Superman like a plumber on a cloggy drain. SLLLLUUUURRRRP.
I'm not impressed with Superman's reaction time, just his speed. Magneto only needs a single thought to mentally disable Superman.

If they couldn't uproot Magneto, Superman can't. Superman can't just lift Magneto by his shield, either. It's a molecular repulse shield - anything that comes in contact with it gets repulsed at the moment of touch - by the electron. Superman has no molecular self-control, therefore upon touch, he goes flying.

Galactus PIS. Phoenix can supposedly recreate the universe. So PIS as well. Hulk and Thor, definitely more acceptable. As for touching or throwing the shield, here is a man who has both wrestled an angel who just touching will turn you to ashes...and has held a miniature black hole in his hands. (By the way...wouldnt a black hole have been to have sucked all the energy out of supes also...since not even light can escape its gravity?)
Uproot mags? He can lift everything under Mags for miles and still toss it into the sun. Supes won't kill? Have you checked recent issues? He was ready to kill "darkseid" and "Doomsday." He was ready to kill imperiex. Its not a normal thing for him to do..but if it has to be done...
I'm impressed by Mags newfound power, but Supes is simply too powerful and fast for Mags to deal with.
Ok first off magneto can control the whole electromagnetic spectrum, heat and x ray are a part of it .meaning if superman tries heat or x ray vision magneto can control it .what it all boils down to is can magneto render superman powerless? and the answer is yes ,because magneto could control the magnetic force of the sun and that screws with supes powers because if all you superman fans know anything about superman the source of his power is our yellow sun. all magneto wuld have to do is bring the gravitional pull of the sun to red sun levels and kill superman . it would drain magneto severely. but i think that because superman protects mankind it would be worth seriously injuring himself . don't forget magneto is very persistant and won't give up on his cause even if he feels he is getting weak. I find my scenario reasonable and i'm not saying it would definately happen but people act like superman can't be stopped but yes he can . especially by someone who can control the electromagnetic field which is part of superman's power source.
Personally I think that Magneto can easily repel objects such as cars, buses etc instantly - but when Superman hurls a 100 ton asteroid at Magneto - is he really going to be able to extend his electromagnetic forcefield with enough power to counter such an object in the SECOUNDS it would actually take Superman to do this?
Result = Magneto KO'ed before he summons enough power to protect himself from the Man of Steel.

I am not positive about supermans physiology because he is kryptonian but I remember in a comic that show magneo showing that he could slow the iron intake in any mutants or humans body and use it to blow them up. He did it to knock out Bishop instead but he did not use it to it's full affect so as not to kill him. If supermans body harbors this, Magneto can probably slow him down long enough to absorb the rays from his body.
