Magneto vs Superman

why does nobody realize magneto controls much more than metal? he can locally cancel gravity to lift non-metal objects just as easily as he does metallic objects.

not to mention heat, light, sound, radiation...

Superman is way too fast for Magneto. The only way Magneto wins is if Superman forgets that he has superpowers and just stands there and lets Magneto do his thing.

Superman could blast him from the Moon using his microscopic and heat vision.

Magneto managed to contain nuclear strikes and absorb the energy of the explosion to save Earth Atmosphere before his fight with Joseph, his young self clone.
Magneto can siphon Superman's body and leave him helpless, powerless, and kill him.

So, that gives Mag all the time in the world to ponder how to **** Superman up.

If Superman runs away from the battlefield, he loses, so he's gotta stay around. Superman can just do his little feminine thing, sashaying around saying "This is a job for Thuper Man" and Magneto will end up killing him.

So if Superman flies and Sub light speed with all his strength and keeps pounding mags shields, he can't get through?

Do you know how many times Supes can do this before Mags has time to even register a thought?

Mags shield is strong against energy attacks, but physical attacks like that would be too much for him. He's human and wouldnt be able to take this kind of punishment for long.

Supes while weak can still take Nukes....far above Mags scale of durability.

Thanks for the pic. Now notice something there....First Triumph is holding Supes, If mags tries that, he's dead. Triumph is close to supes level in strength...and he barely drained anything in the comic. Supes wasn't even trying to fight him there.

Second, what is difficult to understand about a being that moves much faster than thought and hits can move/destroy a planet physically?

This is the same supes who can survive in a black hole, you know...gravitationally far stronger than anything Mags can dish out? A black hole should have easily drained supes too if you think about it...so Mags can't just stand there and attempt to drain anything.

Nothing has broken his shields as of yet, so I'd have to say no. Superman couldn't.

About the Triumph thing.. you'll also notice that this is who Sentry is ripped off of. . and you'll also notice it took SPECTRE to put him down, because no one else could.

It's irrelivent, because even if the whole planet was between them, Superman could clear it and crush Mageto's head with his fingers before he can register a thought to summon up his shields.
