Hell, I was just pretending to be on Mag's side and I still wouldn't have been stupid enough to say that.
Well sorry to sound stupid LP. I shouldnt have said it like that...just as bad as people saying Superman would speed blitz him.
Anyway, I think Superman would have a lot of trouble fighting someone who's powers control the EM to this degree. Magneto also has the advantage in intelligence. Magneto's most recent "upgrades" make him so versatile and powerful, I think there r few individual heroes that could take him.

I'll admit that Mags has a ton of versatility. However, smarter than Supes? The jury is out on that one. I doubt Mags can create a phantom zone generator himself. There is also that endurance thing going against mags. Eradicator tossed supes in a red sun and supes was still able to fly to earth without losing all his powers.

And Superman didn't deliver "In the name of all good things I need to smite all bad things" speech either, which means he was nowhere near his limit. And that wasnt current heat vision he hit Thor with either. Current heat vision as written in BURN!!! reached "limitless" status.
But in that fight, Thor just fought with strength. He didn't use any other abilities in his arsenal.

Thor didn't use any of his abilities and Superman used all of his, that equals bad biased writing.
And Flash couldn't have disarmed Thor anyway.

Superman's been getting knocked around a bit in his book too lately...Blackrock? 🙂
His heat vision got through Blackrocks force field. Now go do your homework on Blackrock.
All Superman has to do is this when Magneto has his sheild up. After a bit the heat will make Magneto loose his powers. Cause we all know heat does to a magnet.
