give me instances of him beating thor, sentry, quasar, binary or other herald level character.

I'll change my vote.

Magneto buckled under the strain of storm's tornado and gave. Imagine superman's fists pounding thousands of times a minute. Superman's biofield is protecting him from having his physical makeup messed with.

And i wouldn't believe Magneto capable of beating Thor, Sentry, Quasar and Binary or any other herald level character.
There is no herald level.
There is however, herald class.
Since herald level implies a cut above, and i'd give Magneto winning odds over Airwalker and Firelord.
Magneto shouldn't beat anybody who can cancel out his shields.
Like Quasar and the other gl types.
Superman can't do that.

Huh.

I grew up reading Marvel, particularly Spidey and the X-men.
Mags is powerful no doubt, but Superman is in a whole other class.

I rarely give 10/10 in matches.
