A prime and undisputable evidence is anime. They're all white. With blonde hair. Blue eyes. They see themselves as inferior. Which is why it is rare to find a truely Asian character in anime cartoons.
undisputable you say?... watch dragonball and dragonball Z... 98% of the character cast is black hair , and black eyes (until a few of them go to a higher battle power)... also X-1999's characters are asian themed... Kamui.. Fuuma.. etc... AKIRA has japanese themed characters, Ranma 1/2 , mobile suit gundam, and so forth...
then comes in the arena of video games.. fighting games to be specific.. where asians get the chance to stereotype nationalities other than their own.. namely street fighter.. you have ken [Usa].. the blonde headed bimbo who wishes to be japanese like ryu... then you have guile [Usa].. the macho buzz-cutted flat top look who's always brandishing his nametags and comb... theres zangief [Russia], the big dumb ox, who's only concern is to smash something.. Dhalsim [India].. who's total focus is Yoga-this and Yoga-that... Chun-li [China].. who slaves to her kung fu as a police officer (how many movies have you seen chinese police officers? hehe)
personally, I think stereotypes are fun and harmless (I know there are stereotypes that are meant to insult and sortof "name call", but most of them are harmless).. I find it interesting to know what other cultures think of other people's cultures in that respect
