Each culture is fundamentally different from others. Given that most people get only a very brief glimpse of what it is like to be in another culture, they cannot help but associate what they see with the culture they've encountered. The more introspective will understand that they haven't seen it all and will try to verify before forming preconceptions. The less introspective will invariably latch on to something obvious (flattering or derogatory) as representative.
If you're into shock comedy, pick up Margaret Cho's DVD's. She's a Korean American comic that's had some success in the USA. Her humor is raunchy filthy hilarious. In one of her schticks she says that her caucasian agent phoned her to let her know that the network had a problem with her -- that she wasn't Asian enough! Pffft!

almost half of our higher jobs positions are taken by non-asians n this leaves us with crummy jobs!
a local guy even made a movie on it ✅
