Congratulations, Mark! Way to go! You going to come out to Chicago?

Jeff

Thanks Jeff - yes, I should be going to Chicago. It's the same weekend as my wife's family reunion, so I'm still working out the logistics.

lol🙂

Congrats, diestler!

Thanks for posting the list, and for making the initial posts that got us all together in the first place.

On the bright side for the rest of us, at least the long wait's over.

Hello to rejection 142. Time to put another iron in the fire.

Alex.

Alex - thanks and you are welcome.

congrats

Thanks Todd.

congrats diestler! You rock!

Thanks Gary - it's bitty sweet - I wish more from the board would have made it. I still crack up each time I think of Dan saying "No" in "Batfollies."

yeah...it's all good. I mean, we're pretty much just getting started and we're all making a name here! With the help of the internet and great links to list our films on, we would probably never get the recognition that we have. You're already on a great start and will get to see all the people in Chicago crack up at your video. I do hope that they show each one in their entirety. I mean, it's just 4 minutes per each film. It'll be a good time and we hope you have a great time at the convention. In the meantime, Dan and I'll be gearing up for next years. We may submit Battalia ab Magi along with our new video just for giggles. And we will definately need to stay in touch!

Gary and Dan - thanks for the special congrats on your website - it is appreciated. Really looking forward to Batfollies 2 - please let me know when it is done.

Napoleon Skywalker

Hey all,

Boy I'm a johnny-come-lately about this. My film was also a runner-up "Napoleon Skywalker". I wasn't posting it anywhere on the net because I didn't know if that would disqualify the entry 🙂. Head to www thehoffmanstudio com to check it out. From looking at the other films, I proud my show is in such good company!

Chris - Awesome - thanks for joining the board. I was dying to see your film based on the title - I just got done watching it and I laughed my ass off. You did a great job. Wow - I can't believe you didn't win. I will have to compare it to the winner, once G14 finally gets it up - if ever. You going to Chicago? If so, hope to see you there. How about adding your film to iFilm? - I'm sure it would be a huge hit.

Chris - did you get your box of goodies yet from Wizard? I haven't but was told it went out last week. In addition to iFilm, you should get your film on theforce.net - the Star Wars folks will probably eat it up.

Here's another runner-up from this year's contest - at least the Director's cut version, as the Wizard version isn't available online:

Got an email yesterday that "All's Fair in Love and Police Actions" was chosen as an iFilm Pick, and that it would be up this morning. (that's 64 days from submission, for anyone currently waiting to hear from them).

Alex.

Crap. They trimmed it. Guess they didn't like that it was widescreen (or that my URL was in the letterbox), so the edges are cut off. Only mattered in a few shots, but crap.

Ah well.

Oh, hell yes.

Congrats Alex, that is great news!

BTW - I never posted the link to the winning video on this board - so here you guys go:

Thanks, Diestler!

Now it's a "Clip of the Day," which I guess is an even bigger deal than being an iFilm Pick. Featured on the front page of iFilm.com and sent out to over 27,000 subscribers.

Okay, I think this thing has climaxed.

Alex.
