Consider that during an attack by White Martians the JLA decided to move Earth's moon, and 3 characters went up to move it by hand.

WonderWoman
Superman
Martian Manhunter.

To move a third of the moon's mass requires far far FAR more than an '80 ton' moving capacity.

Basically, a person who could lift exactly 100 tons would be listed as Class 100. A person physically stronger than Superman, Hulk, Thor, Wonder Woman, Hercules, and Martian Manhunter COMBINED would STILL be listed as Class 100. There's no Class 1000 or 100000000. There's just no class beyond 100 is all.

If DC used the same scale that Marvel uses, then people like Supes, WW, MM, and Capt. Marvel would all be listed as Class 100 as well. This doesn't mean however, that they are limited to 100 tons. DC does have more Class 100 characters than Marvel, but that doesn't mean they are above the Marvel scale.

Just what does some pic of Superman and WW fighting have to do with this fight? I don't know where that came from exactly, but it looks like PIS, considering he broke her wristbands (an impossible task even for Superman).

As for the fight, I'd like to see what Supes could do to MM when he becomes intangible.

The only problem is....if Superman lands one SOLID punch....MM is done for.

As for the whole Max Lord thing discussed earlier, is he really as powerful a telepath as MM? I doubt it would take MM years to simply attack Superman's mind.

When MM uses that power, the best Supes's heat vision can do is scare him (assuming he's still afraid of fire.)

i thought MM wasnt having problems with fire anymore? Anyone they have fought before when MM went all out in the trial by fire arc when he became furnus he basically owned the JLA and superman said he was not the most powerful being on earth but MM was.

But that isn't true MM might be more powerful if you think in all his versatility but if its a real fight, Supes can stand his telepathy and he can't became intangible for ever. Supes wins this. Also Supes can't be intangible like the Flash it was just a visual illusion.

I've already proved (with scans) that if Supes doesnt want it to happen, its not happening. (At least not in a standard vs battle.)

Despero mindraped MM and Aquaman together, but had trouble with Supes.

Supes COULD trap MM in Torquasm VO though.

Yea, It's cheesy, but its part of Supes arsenal.

Supes can become invisible as well.

Aside from Fernus, I'd go with Superman on this one. Based on what I've heard of MM powers, he just doesn't have the stamina to hang with Superman in terms of strength and speed nor does he have an attack that would end the fight quick.
And there is the fact that Doomsday was able to take him down with a single punch (if I remember correctly), while Superman was able to fight DD for much longer.
Telepathy would be MM's best bet, but I think that Avalon has shown that Superman has considerable defense against a direct attack.

Superman is so damn strong and durable that if an opponent can't attack using one of his few weakness against him, they don't stand much of a chance imo.

The fact is that Supes can resist MM's telepathy, leaving MM with no chances of defeating him with his other powers, and that includes intangibility, some time MM would have to go physical one on one and then he would be defeated with no doubts! Almost nobody can beats Supes on DC.
