USH'S STAR WARS GAME- LIGHT SIDE INTERLUDE- The Warlord of Droben

Gallagher suddenly drops his lightsaber as the man slumps over dead.

In all of his missions, it had been Master Korth who had killed, if killing was needed. Never had his own blade struck flesh or ended a life.

"I...I'll...be fine," Gallagher replies to Master Marcus, attempting to use the Force to pick up his lightsaber, which twitches a few times before rising to his hand. He gripped it tightly and put it at his belt. "I'll be fine."

Ok, Xeth goes in, roills a +3, and its good! He quickly clobbers the man inside, and manages to sneak him out and onto a nearby chair. Vlad nips in, and gets to work on the controls..

... and five minutes later, all is done! The defences are down, the esape route is sealed, and everyone is inside the lobby, ready for the next phase.

Now, as people get into position for that final phase, I am only going to place in the battle itself those who prep- so I know exactly who is here playing and not.

You knew self-defence and unavoidable killing are a part of Jedi life, Gallagher, that you had not seen before. You imagined you were ready for it.

But you never expected it to be like that; you thought it would be in the heat of battle, a sabre lashing out at a man trying to kill you.

Not an unarmed man, forgetting the extra senses of a Jedi, thinking himself safe.

I mean... what an idiot! Why did he do that?

Gallagher simply stares at the dead body of the man that he had slashed across the chest.

"Unfortunate..." he says, trying to make the man seem at peace by positioning him in a peaceful, sleeping position.

How bout we have someone go and secure the landing spot for the ship while the rest go and kill the Warlord.

"That went well!" Xeth says, dusting his hands as the other Jedi group joins his. "Marcus, Roan, shall we begin?"

Assuming they say yes, what is your plan?

It doesn't seem to ease your feleings any, Gallagher. You shouldn't have been put in that situation.

We surround the Warlord and knock him out.

Nice plan in theory.

In practice, the Warlord is up in his well defended control centre, whilst you are down in the lobby.

How about we go in hard with shields and sabers ignitied?

Shields?

The lifts are the main obstacle.

How about we use the security key Xeth took to get on the lifts?

Hmm. It seemsd the key will get you into the lift, but you need a code for the top floor.

How about I uae Empathy again to see who is the highest ranking person.

You got all the unfo you are getting there. Besides, stealing a code out of someone's head is a tricky business.

How about we capture the guy and have the guy with persuade try and get it out of him.

That's what I meant. It;s not like pickpocketing. You can't do anything like that without causing a scene- and the clock is ticking.

We use Sense to try and sense the right code?

Nah, force powers aren't that precise with mind reading- they sense emotions and strong thoghts, not dragging numbers out of heads.

Certainly not in a casual situation like this, anyway.

We cut a hole in the ceiling and get in from there.

You sense that could be dangerous- this system is wired.
