Nothingness

What is nothingness? Can such a thing exist?
Anything that exists, would be something. So exists nothingness only as a concept in the mind?

Niets is een kous zonder been met de voet er af

dat zei mijn grootvader altijd...🙁

(heck, no clue how I have to translate that in proper english)

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT 😮

only as a concept in your mind and even then it's dodgy

i guess everythingin your mind is nothing as it doesn't reallt exist.emotions probably, sisnce there is no scientifiv explanition about what they are...yet...

Try to imagine Yerss' brain............and there you have it. ✅

*tries*
*fails due to overload*

I guess it took a lot of time for you to come up with this subject.

you mean like a void? In which there is only darkness or no mass in it? There are things that dont exists and they're consider fragments of imagination.

Is that what you aiming at storm? 😕

No, I don't think it exists only in the mind... I think if you asked most physicists they'd say that it is what exists outside the universe... And some extremely remote parts of space have absolutely nothing in them

Though that's if we're talking about strictly matter

Though theoretically... Our "idea" of such a place does not exist in that place so... Hell, you're confusing me.

Nothingness is nothing so therefore can't exsist

I dont understand your point????😑

Nothing is absence of everything.

Darkness is absence of all light, and darkness exists, does it not? Therefore, nothingness exist, only as absence of everything,

Well, unfortunately, Storm enormously contradicted herself in the first statement, rather destroying the question.

That is actually a damn good way of exlaining it Milla 😄

*is trying not to act surprised at intellectual Lils*

😗

J/K, I totally agree with Milla, nothingness in itself cannot possibly exist, as it is a contradiction in terms, but it can exist to compliment something else, such as the "absence of everything".

clap Well said chica 🪩

just wondering...a vacuum has NOTHING in it, but does that make it nothing itself...? Or is a vacuum another title we give to mean nothing?

Uh.....

*stumped*

Nah, "nothing" being what is actually in the vacuum, yet still being the absence of anything, Milla hit the nail on the head babes.......

Vacuum has something in it, it has space. Space is something.

Would you believe a fool? (if I try to explain it?)

Than nothing is just an abstract concept, right? You couldn't actually have it.
