Official Doctor Who Thread

No clue who the guy is, but hey. If he can pull it off, then awesome, and that's all that matters, right?

I liked how he was in the interviews in that programme, I don't think he will annoy me at all in the new series compared to Tennent...

I'm just glad it didn't go to anyone in that awful news link list. I just hope they get a good companion too, does the companion always need to be younger than the Doctor(in real life) or has there ever been an older person?

Barbara and Ian were older than most but they were with Hartnell.
Maybe well get a teen assistant.

The closest to an older companion is the Brigadier.

If David must get replaced than the ONLY person I want to take part over is Ewan McGregor.

I don't understand this "if David Tennant MUST get replaced..." mindset. I mean, yeah, I love him as much as every other 20-something year old female fan of the show. But, he is not the show itself, and everyone knows that the Doctor doesn't stay the same. So why's it such a big deal?

Also, penguins are cool. But we all know bunnies are better.

I don't think MacGregor would make a very good Doctor, honestly. I'd be too busy thinking about Kenobi.

He has done the best job so far and to have someone else that could suck would be madness.

Well we will see what Matt Smith is like next year, so no good moaning about it. McGregor would be terrible...

Yeah and ALLLLLLLLL gay men look the same... some photos of him are not flattering, when I called him a goblin it was from a dodgy first photo I saw and then I saw him in the interview and he looked better with his lovely hair, better keep that for the show.

His chin will piss me off to no end.
