The new guy reminds me of a cross between Heath Ledger and Lon Chaney.

There are a LOT of people complaining about Matt Smiths looks.
This is a character played in the past by the Brad Pitt esque Pat Troughton and Tom Baker.
These are obv members of the "i want David Tennants babies fan club".

Yeah, it's the stills. he looks like Frankenstein's monster in his IMDB pic. BCC needs to get the publicity machine moving for him- he looks very Doctor-esque in some of the stuff he has done.

I don't even know who Matt Smith is...but I know I don't want David replaced...he's meant to be the Doctor forever, even when he's dead they can stick his head on a monkeys body and have him play the doctor that way

I think Matt is yummeh! He was most excellant starring next to Billie Piper in Ruby in the Smoke.
