The good Doctor returns on Saturday April 3rd, just hope its good as I'm fed up with all the cr*p on TV these days.

Yup! Not only will the Doctor be returning on April 17th @ 9/8c, but the first episode is going to be an extended version with limited commercials. Gotta love that!

I like the war time Dalek in Green with a union flag just under its eye. Glad to see more than one Dalek, Cyberman as well! Better get the pop corn in and cool down the beers ready for next week.

Who the heck watches Doctor Who with commercials?

Nice interview with Matt Smith tonight, was on Jonathan Ross, showed a clip from Vampires in Venice too, lovely. They showed that first link trailer too.

The American trailer is much better though.

For anyone who missed the interview, Matt Smith gave some good insight on the new TARDIS. He said,"It’s bigger on the inside, has different levels, other rooms including a library and is a different shade of blue outside.”

Well I read somewhere that the because the BBC American premier will be an extended version, that it's going to have exclusive content that' hasn't been seen anywhere else. So that's why I'll be waiting until April 17th to see the 1st episode.

I somehow doubt it. More like it simply won't be edited for as many commercials like they always are here.

I doubt they would ever give an audience outside of its home country extra footage in an episode, bit bloody unfair.

Well we are off again, Matt Smith for me is a thumbs up with his first episode. I could say more but as American is still waiting I've just say this, looking good.

I'll have to see if the new music grows on me.

I adore the new theme, really good opening credits. I also think Matt Smith is fantastic, I need to warm towards 'Amy Pond' though.

With the companion, I was thinking I couldn't put up with a whole series of that awful bloody

Not sure on the new music, and I still hate the new logo. I mean, seriously.

Amy amuses the hell out of me, though. Definite shades of Donna in her, with the giving as good as she gets. And I'm liking Eleven so far. He's nuts, but slightly different form of nuts, and it's funny.

It seems like they are trying to force too much new stuff,

the interior design of the tardis has always changed but it looks good when it does...now it just seems like they tried too hard to make it seem like the interior was made from all sorts...I mean a bell...a friggin type writer, its like the antiques roadshow was being hosted in the tardis!! And plus changing the sonic screwdriver, wth!?! I like the original sonic screwdriver!!
