Just saw it. This is the best episode since season 3. It's incredible how one episode pretty much face-raped season 4 and the specials like no one's business.
THIS is what I've been wanting for so long from RTD. No more nostalgia crap, no more preachiness, and no more overhype for itself. A simple, and yet absolutely epic episode that took characters we've never met before and made them immediately lovable. The scope, dialogue, and character development alone in this episode was off the charts. The story took classic elements and added its own mix. The one issue I have with the episode is its villain which isn't particularly terrifying (and did borrow a little too much from Martha's first appearance episode), and the Doctor-kid moment was a LITTLE too long. Besides that? Freakin' loved it. Fantastic, epic, and an episode not to be missed.
5/5. Welcome to the show, Mr. Smith. Please stay as long as you can.
For anyone in the States, like myself who are waiting for it to premiere on TV, but still want some in on some of the excitement, there's a great preview on iTunes that is small on spoilers but large on awesomeness.
I was unsure about Matt in the first episode, but this one was simply great. We got a better look at his take on the Doctor, and it's nice to see some development as a result of what he went through as Ten. The plot was... a bit odd, but the emotion from it was incredible. Did a good job making you care about the choice the Doctor had to make.

Definitely no Davros any time soon.
Its a shame, he's a great villain, we see daleks all the time, we should be able to get Davros more often. When the show was renewed in 2005 I thought the voice that we heard was davros in the series final but turned out to be the dalek emperor.

The newest episode was ok. I didn't mind it, but it wasn't anything special. It reminded me a lot of the Jagrofess episode, which was also entertaining but forgettable. The Smilers were unbelievably random and unnecessary, but Matt Smith's acting was incredible this episode.
The next episode looks like it may be the best Dalek episode since "The Parting Of Ways" if done right.
One thing that kind of annoys me, though, is that the atmosphere in World War II seems different from last time. But who knows what'll happen? Maybe I'm totally wrong.
