and as I said earlier as well, the gangers were the exact same way at the castle and Doctor said the flesh was alive even before the lightening blast giving them independent thought. Only one who cared about the ganger before they became sentient was the doctor, but then he did that. Doesn't seem right.

but lets leave it at that, as were going in circles.

Yeah sorry you don't get it. But you are wrong; they are not the same.

Well that episode was very good, can't wait till Autumn...I know who River Song is 🙂

Meh, it was ok. Found the revelation more or less irrelevant.

Was kind of a let down, I was hoping she'd be sooo much more...she kind of is in a way I guess, the fact that they had her in season 4 and now in season 6 they come up with this. Kinda makes me wonder if this was always the plan.

A average episode that was alright, as for River's secret well....

Still one secret remains...Who did she kill?

Or maybe there are more to come?

It just doesn't really MATTER. I mean, ok, sure, interesting in an objective sense but what possible difference does it make?

And it is weak as a cliffhanger to a continuation later in the year as we simply have no idea what is happening next time, so I have nothing to anticipate. It's not as if he was left staring down a barrel of a gun or having just died or the universe blowing up or something (all things done recently in Doctor Who) that I might have been anxious to see resolved.

Notable that the reveal ten minutes into the first episode was much more interesting- and would have made a much better cliffhanger.

When was he staring down the barrel of a gun?

That happens to him all the time!

I thought you meant literally...not as a metaphor

... no, it happens all the time to him literally too.

...well, that was an interesting reveal at the end there.

Wow.

Not all the time...you saw last nights episode right?

You say very strange things, you know that?

But he's not always staring down the barrel of a gun literally...literally would imply that he's got a gun pointed at him and his is staring into it, but that hasn't actually happened. Last nights episode didn't see him staring down the barrel of a gun...metaphorically or literally...they kinda told us straight up that he's gonna find her.

However, no matter what you think of this episode. "Lets kill Hitler" is possibly the greatest title ever. I literally burst out laughing when I saw that.

If by "greatest" you mean "most ridiculous", I agree 😛

So imaginative

Again, you are very weird...

Not a fan of the Let's Kill Hitler title.

Touche

Sounds like a child wrote it

Ush's explanation of the ganger-cide makes sense. However, I feel they did a poor job explaining it, because not everyone will come to that conclusion. It's explained very hastily. Shock over the "killing" was my initial reaction too, and I was never able to resolve it until coming on here. Many, many viewers will see it as the Doctor being hypocritical.

Good times, etc. on the last episode. I tend not to pore over exact devices and just enjoy myself. But am I the only one that knew who River was within the first 2 minutes of the episode? They didn't exactly hide it from even a casual observer.

Let's Kill Hitler was funny because of when it appeared, not because of the title itself. Literally seconds after the emotional ending. I lol'd. Excellent placement there, intentional or not, unless you disliked the contrast.
