Bittersweet because I had hopes for 9 coming back for some of those specials with 5 doctors until he was announced.

Yeah, seeing Ecclestone again as the Doctor would be great.

Good New Year show

Any David Tennant fans, he’s playing Phileas Fogg in a PBS series based on Around The World in 80 Days, and it’s pretty good!

Third ep airs this Sunday.

From the beginning? Or just the revival?

The revival. I'm enjoying Doctor Who more than I thought I would.

it's great, the Ecclestone episode Dalek is the best in my opinion. I've always wondered how episodes from my child hold like the green death stand up now, so many decades later.

It's doable. Probably took me about 18 months but I went through it from Hartnell to McCoy (obviously while watching Eccleston and Tennant, etc.) I even squeezed in the two Peter Cushing movies.

Respect... I had a serious thing for both Zoe and Romanna 2. I also liked Perry.

I'll have to rewatch the series again so I kn ow all the nuances. That was a good episode. I wish Eccleston did more than 1 season.

I can't find the original episodes from the beginning to stream.

Yeah, agree 100% Ecclestone was awesome. I liked Tennant very much too. I really hope someone uploads the entire original series that I can find. Question for Sam, where did you find it? I looked bittorrent. I've download the original 5 Doctors to see the overpowered silver robot destroy a troop of cybermen. I can't remember what that robot was called.

It was piratebay I think, that's where I'd usually get my non-current TV shows. You might have to go through pirateproxy to get there. You'll have more luck finding a torrent by including the actors name in the key words, William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, etc.

will look, no need for a proxy in Nigeria 🙂

Well, he's wrong. The guy in charge of the whole things has described how thae fact that Eccleston was leaving early was blown too soon by an ill-informed press department that gave reasons that Christopher himself is pissed at because the reasons given were not true.
wrong Ush, we now know the truth 17 years later.

I'm not liking season 9 nearly as much as the previous seasons.
