Capaldi was an amazing Doctor, which is a testament to his skills cause I just really didn't like Moffat storylines. It's why Smith is probably my least favorite of the NuWho. Smith was relatively new, so he couldn't make me like him while disliking most of everything else except Rory Pond being like my 3rd favorite companion. Capaldi has been great in all 3 of his roles in DWuniverse.

I'll give her at least 1 season. The show and writers still deserve credit for last so long.

Originally posted by Badabingyeah Bada, for me the Hartnell and Troughton stuff is too dated. Except zoe (Wendy padbury) was serious english rose wank material. Pertwee and Baker were my Doctors as a kid and I still think had the best writing of the original series.

Originally posted by Old Man Whirly!Jodie Whittaker seems very likable. I like her take on the doctor too. A bit mad scientist and zany genius mixed. I think she does as well as she can with the stories.

I thought I was going to hate her. For some reason I thought she was like Brie Larson.

It's like you know, way back in the 90's for a short time Valiant replaced XO with a girl... no one cared, because the stories were good. She's actually a good Doctor. It's a bit weird I mean if I ****ed her would I be ****ing Tom Baker by proxy, truthfully, I wouldn't care, she's friendly, fun snd likeable. She does look a bit like Brie Larson i guess, who if I'm honest I fancy the pants off too, great ass. 😂
I'm not 100% familiar with Doctor Who lore, so I don't know if the Doctor being a woman goes against any established canon. But I like Jodie Whittaker's Doctor.
It's a time travel show. If the lore was messed up they can always retcon it.
Originally posted by BadabingI honestly at this point give up on Canon, It's like Star Wars, fans pick their cannon almost.

I first became aware of Jodie here: YouTube video
But the dirty old man aspect of my persona is well known here by now 🙂 She was Beverley. Mostly, in the red top!
Originally posted by BadabingExactly, this will be her last season coming up. Then a big reboot is coming. RTD returns and **** what the haters say he gets Dr Who.
Season 10 was my least favorite. I see Jodie Whittaker gets some hate from Youtube reviewers, mainly because of the writing, if that makes sense. I think she's done the best she can given the writing. Same as Capaldi.

I generally liked the episodes. My biggest gripe is that The Doctor almost seemed like a background character because the story was so dense. I would have liked The Doctor to have been more prominent.
It's a minor gripe against an otherwise good story arc.
Originally posted by BadabingYeah, I agree Flux was a wacky head trip. Too much going on, no simple point of reference, very good mind you!
