Official Doctor Who Thread

Maybe not now, but the first Doctor looked 60, but that was then. vintageSW77, when you want to post more, edit you last post if it's within 15 minutes, then add what you want instead of several posts just from you.

vintageSW77 are you Dr Spam?

Just Joking. 🙄

Well if you look closely u will notice some of the posts are over 15 minuites between...even a few days apart.
It aint my fault i was the only person to post in here for two weeks keeping the thread at the top of the pile in a sea of topics about WHO IS THE FITTEST DOCTOR ON HOLBY CITY etc.
If i had a Tardis id go back a fortnight and edit them into one big lovely post JUST FOR YOU Blue Dragon...Heck id even go back in time and save Steve Irwin from death by Stingray and shoot George Lucas in the head roundabout 1996 the day he put pen to paper and started writing THE PHANTOM MENACE

but i dont so there you go.

I don't see any reason to bump the thread up just for the sake of keeping it in the top 10 threads. There is a search tool which everyone can use.

And before I am accused of doing the same thing, I was going to say that I heard Dr Who did well at some TV awards function.

Read it here Dr Who scores TV awards hat-trick

Yeah but people dont search, much like people dont trawl through 68 pages of a thread just so see if they aint repeating a view expressed on page 3.
All i did was post comments that came to me over different time periods.
My intention wasnt to prevent the Dr Who thread dissapearing from view until christmas 2006....i was just commenting on the fact no one had any Dr Who news or comments unlike myself so it looked like i was "spamming"....even if they were about the Brigadeer indulging in pocket billiards.

Anyway...im glad that Tennant won the award..he deserved it.
Mind you this same awards show gave away a fave reality tv contestant award to Nikki off BB so i guess it aint the Baftas.

Ya docter who won three awards am so happy 😱

Two posts are within 4 minutes, the other two aren't. I was just saying so it's better for you & other members, so don't go blame me as if it's my fault...& sarcastic too. And don't bring up Steve Irwin like that, it sounds like a joke.

Anyway, back to topic. I got a Cyberman figure for my birthday yesterday, yay! I wanted one anyway but someone else got it for me. 😊

Also glad Doctor Who won three awards again, just like last year. 😛

sorry i aint ever seen more than 5 mins of a Steve Irwin show so his death doesnt mean a thing to me.
back to the topic DR WHO is being repeated again on sat /sun mornings and its the Pertwee era and not the RTD series...for a change.
The classic Spearhead From Space is on BBC4 too tonight

As ive stated on the Torchwood post The Daleks are back in series 3 in a 1930s New York based episode
The Divine Comedy will provide a song for the xmas episode
There is a soundtrack cd coming out
AND as someone pointed out that although its old news ill just say John Barrowman confirmed he will be in series 3 yesterday from his own mouth as opposed to being announced in forums much like this since last xmas.

So he's coming back...but how, do they just bump into each other? I did hear he'd be coming back, but didn't know when or if it was true.

It is supposed to tie in with the last Torchwood episode which i believe is on New Years Eve
This i hear is a pic from the new series
Which proves at least one rumour

I wouldn't trust pics like that as confirming anything - you have no idea what it came from, what it's actually meant to be...as far as we know, it could be fake.

And as for Jack appearing in the next season of Doctor Who...I read it confirmed in a magazine article (well, a scan of one, as I don't live in the UK) right before Torchwood started airing.

Doesn't anyone else think Captain Jack is the Doctor's son?

well i hear it was taken by Richard Clarkes girlfreind
a couple of pics were removed from the same site so i guess its legit

as for Captain Jack being the Doctors son i doubt it
he must have a son out there as he did have a grandaughter - Susan
but i doubt its Captain Jack.

Maybe some proof that The Daleks are back
Says a day with Daleks on the set of Dr Who series 3

John Barrowman interview confirming his involvment in series 3

AND a Judoon from Dr Who series 3

I thought it was a Sontarian for a min...DARN!!

Also
The Time Warrior and Invasion of the Dinosaurs are on UK GOLD this Sat/Sun morning

And yes i know i should keep this to one post but i dont know how to put multiple pics on a post

Another Judoon

A final Judoon pic

I think that Captain Jack is the Doctor's son because 1) the Doctor said that he had a child once or something like that (can't remember) and 2) David Barrowman said this in an interview:

"A lot of the things that have happened with Doctor Who [in the second series], the Torchwood team have been responsible for fixing or annihilating after the Doctor does his bit. And the Doctor is saying, at the moment, like “Who the hell are these Torchwood people?” because our paths haven't crossed again, and I am frantically trying to find him. I'm trying to find the Doctor. Because there is something that the viewing public won't know yet, there's something about Jack that nobody knows. And he needs the Doctor."

I may be wrong. 🙂

Maybe hes a timelord.
Itd be too much for the fans and the show for Jack to be the Doctors son
