Official Doctor Who Thread

Well, RTD inside even says he didn't want to give too much away but couldn't resist the cover.

Gah...

I don`t know anything about Doctor Who. Why do you like it, Ush?

its not much of a spoiler seeing as it is in every newsagent throughout the uk so i guess its ok to post this

Not all of us here live in the UK...

Though I've never been one to care about spoilers, personally.

Hey, you're pretty much exactly in the same place I was a year ago!

Yeah, the cover kinda hurts. But oh well.

*chuckles at Melkor* and pretty much exactly in the same place I was about 6 months ago...

well its the cover of a major publication and not tucked away inside so ..................

i wonder what Davros would have made of the hybrid

Most likely would have had no problem. It's not the first time the Daleks mutated via a hybrid.

Classic Dr Who
Revelation of the Daleks

So, Lana, Kaliero, it seems we must all follow our (game)Master and watch this....

Excuse me as im not a fan of Colin Bakers stint as the Doctor so i didnt know or forgot about that one

and it was more about the look of the thing
its a bit naff
but im sure itll creep out the kiddies
im surprised the tenticles or legs whatever they are werent a bit more phallic looking knowing RTD

Classic Dr Who
Revelation of the Daleks

That was transforming Humans into Daleks, just as the Emperor was doing at the end of the first season of new Who. Different.

Still, Davros was never afraid to experiment.

Still doesn't change the fact that some of us here don't live in the UK and thus would never have seen it otherwise...

I would say yes 😛

Okay, how good it is compared to Battlestar Galactica?

I'm not a mindless zombie, I swear! 😛

Though I can be blamed on Lana. But since it's Ush's fault Lana got into it, I'll blame Ush anyway. 😱

Than you should convert me, and the circle shall be complete.....

Sounds good to me. I got Rex into it as well 😛

As for how good it is compared to Battlestar Galactica...honestly, I don't know, as I can't remember if I've ever seen BSG. I've found I've been less than fond of most sci-fi TV since the X-Files ended.

I like Doctor Who as well, it's not my fave show but it's okay.

I think the Daleks are used to often, they run the risk of becomming like the borg on voyager, overused.

The Daleks are used too often? Oo

Dalek
Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways
Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks

So only four serials in three years is too much?

well you could make the same comments with your sig and avatar for those strange POTC fans concerning spoilers regarding whatserfaces oriental based costuming

and 3 Dalek stories in 3 seasons straight containg 13 episodes each is too much

they are playing it safe
