That would put Talin at 92 stamina... that's only ten shy of his max, I think he will be fine!

Well, your next team is a bit different. it is a bunch of Beornings, wearing only light Soft Leather, and no shields- but they are carrying great two-handed swords. Their tactic is to strike first and clobber you mightily out the fight befoere you get a chance to hit them very much.

Talin eyes the Beornings.

"Bah, a load of muscle!" Talin scoffs. "They just want to intimidate us, that they do. Well, I for one am not buying it!"

...Beornings are the race of men who can turn into bears, yes?

Gwilwileth is not of much use investigating in pubs as she is an Elf, but could she possibly spy upon the Prince every so often during this part? Surely he is trying to cover up the death of his friend. Maybe even still going out at night...

Well, there's only so many times she can use spells at a time, so I'd rather save it for if it's needed 😛

OK, no probs! Especially as we may need them after this round!
As for Beornings, they are big and nasty enough even BEFORE they turn into bears!

Only the hairiest ones can bear-en-ate.

Does anyone have any spare money with which they can have purchased herbs for the relief of stamina loss?

I don't think Ellothiel really has any money at all. All of the stuff I have is either from her background or free stuff.

I'm not sure about Menelacar's financial situation. He hasn't spent anything, so I think just has what he gets given initially. If that's none, then he is broke. Unless he gets appearance fees!

Hmm, well, ok, I shall be nice and let everyone carry a single Draaf leaf for free. Those things heal 1-10 hits when used.

I don't think Anglomir even took a hit, so he's fine.

And so- whether due to increased ferocity or simply unexplained continuity change- I am going to make these fights a little nastier by only downgrading wounds by two levels now, not three...

Oh, cool.

I'm not even going to bother asking "who wants to take bets on which of us will drop first", then 😛

While those of a *ahem* lesser higher inclination set upon each other with blunt wooden instruments, Palidan who has been off doing elf-y things will go socialize with the nobles who are around (if any)
