Let's see then!

Well, this turn D, having been snuck up on by Ellothiel, turns in surprise to attack her- meaning Talin's concentrating on D was a good idea, as he gets the Flanking bonus and no shiled penalty!

Ellotheil goes first, now facing both a front-on attack and a shield. This time she rolls a thirty, struggling valiantly though to no enormous effect.

Now Anglomir, looking to better himself. 19... not your fight so far... you are clashing sowrds with no great purpose right now.

Talin goes for the exposed side! But he only rolls a 33... on the other hand, with no shield against him and the flanking bonus, that comes out as 109! That's an 11B on the Concussion table, though the wound goes nowhere. 11 damage, better than nothing...

Now the Cardolani come at you. Against Ellothiel, a 69. of course, with ther shield, he is actually only on 5 against her so thart ias a 74... a hit for three, as she tires in the blade exchange.

Anglomir;s attacker is equally fruitless with an identical 19. A 58 against Talin sounds good and actually hits him, bouncing off his chain for an irrelevant 1 Stamina loss. 59 against Menelacar is a slightly more hardcore... 3 damage.

Finally Menelacar strikes! And a 92 is far more like it. Final result is 105, an 11B. Crtiical goes to nothing, so no effect there, but the damage is solid.

Cardolani D: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/26

Bit better! Shame Talin didn't roll that 91. Though that might have been unpleasant.

Well, I've lost the element of surprise that Ellothiel had...

She will continue her attack on C, then.

Anglomir is going to just keep up his assault, trying to force his way past Cardolani B's guard.

Hmph. Well, as C will probably be caught off-guard by Ellothiel, Talin will attack him this time.

Actually I don't know why I said C, I meant D as I had been attacking him before, and I'm not sure if it's wise for me to attack a second opponent and risk having both of them after Ellothiel...

Shall I assume that Talin and Ellotheil always attack the same target?

Yes, because they cannot defend against both of us and so one of us will be able to land some decent blows while the other keeps them occupied.

This is very true. The flip side is that Talin leaves himself open- but high-stamina/decent armour Talin can take it. Hence, fair tactics!

Ok Ellothiel goes for D again. 05? Ew... very missed.

Anglomir tries not to roll craply! 48 really still not going to do it though...

Talin! Get us out this mess! Your guy is still going for Ellothiel, giving you the big bonus!

95. Uhoh. That actually maxes you out at 150, which is a 22E. Even with the lowered crits, that is a 22B.

Oh, it is ok, you have not killed him- Blow to Side, +4 hits, -40 to activity to one round, which happens now with his attack on Ellothiel, which obviously at -40 he completely misses on! Not surprising seeing as your blow just cracked one of this ribs and nearly took him off his feet.

A 35 on Menelacar, a 02 on Talin- fumble! Your attacker accientally sumbles into your elbow, Talin, taking two damage in the process. And then 22 on Anglomir, in the most girly 'no-one can roll more than 50' fight ever.

Finally Menelacar! Well, 65 rolled, could have been worse. That is a 78, for 5 damage.

Menelacar: 43 (1he)/5 (C)/0/71

Talin: 66 (1hc)/15 (C)/5/84

Ellothiel: 20 (1he)/10 (RL)/20/30

Anglomir: 46 (1he)/5 (RL)/10/82

Cardolani A: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/34

Cardolani B: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/50

Cardolani C: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/48

Cardolani D: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/4

Ellothiel strikes first, so Talin can set a conditional on who he attacks depending on how she does.

If I attack Cardolani D, is there a risk of killing him accidentally?

Might be better to let Ellothiel try and attack him, since it's not nearly so likely that she'll kill him on accident...

You'd be unlucky to kill him; it is more a matter of efficient damage.

That's true, and C is focused on attacking Talin, right? I have a chance of getting at least a semi-decent him on him since he won't be defending against me.

But then you would not be defending against D. You going for a different target was magnificently not what I meant- my point is that D only has 4 stamina left.

Yeah, true. Okay, attack on D then.

Well, Talin is going to keep C preoccupied, hoping that the show of brute force that the Dwarf just exerted on D will be found intimidating...

We fight on!

A 52 from Ellothiel not enough to finish her foe, I am afraid!

Talin rolls a 95... again! Gives him a 131, a 17D... scored an 'A' wound there! Oh, exactly the same result- another rib strike! +4 hits and he gets -40 to his next action, so he has no chance of harming you.

Ok Anglomir, here we go! A 71, that's a bit better. 87 is a 7A, so just a 7, then, but better than all your nothings!

Their turn. 11 on Ellothiel is no good, Talin's guy is clutching his side in pain, Anglomir's rolls 07... but Menelacar's foe rolls 93. That's a 10A on Menelacar, though the A goes to nothing. Ow!

Menelacar strkes next... a 72! 85 is six damage.

Cardolani C: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/27

Cardolani D: 40 (1he)/5 (RL)/5/4

Talin remains relentless upon his foe, striking at C again as the Cardolani opponent clutches his side in agony by landing the axe upon his shoulder.

That's better, Anglomir is done with the girly slap-fight...

If Anglomir suddenly attacked A and not B, would he still be able to defend against B just fine? If not, he is going to keep wailing on B.

You aren't really close enough to another fighter at this point to just switch like that I am afraid.

Ok, moving on!

Ellothiel goes for it again! 75 rolled, but as her foe has a shiled that goes down a bit and... she's JUST missed him... unlucky!

Anglomir's turn... back to girly. 47 is no good.

Talin! Talin rolls 51, which becomes an 87... which is another 7 hits!

Their turns. 42 on Ellothiel (miss), 72 on Talin (2 hits in chain...), 40 on Missglomir, and 81 on Menelacar for 6.

Menelacar's turn, he rolls a 68... final score is 81, for six right back at him!
