Well I don't really want to kill them if they are just Inn bouncers. Are they armed?

"What's all this then?" William asks as the man he was fighting suddenly goes limp and dead, as the half-elf saves his life. "Ellothiel, who are these people?"

Well I don't really want to kill them if they are just Inn bouncers. Are they armed?

Yes- shortswords.

"If I knew, much would be explained...but I haven't a clue," Ellothiel said. She's going to check the bodies to see if there's any means of identifying who they are. "Are you hurt?"

We have longswords - do we have daggers too? And are their swords drawn?

Intelligence and Tracking are not really Dwarvish specialty. Talin could just choose a direction but that wouldn't do much good. Instead, he'll go find the others.

"I think I'm okay," William says, taking his bow from his back. "Who were these men?"

"I don't know, but I'm trying to find out just that...obviously someone did not like your presence."

Who are you heading to, Talin?

Their swords are not yet drawn, Menelacar. I don't think you carry daggers though.

-

You check them, Ellothiel. Men of some kind; rather ragged.

Anglomir has throwing knives, but those are not quite the same.

"I was hoping you had something planned," Anglomir says to Menelacar. "Do you, my liege?"

I thought everyone carried daggers!

Menelacar will give Anglomir a hug. "Iiiiit's alright, no worry!" then he whispers in his ear. "Throwing knives, one each" - he then secretly takes one off Anglomir and conceals it up his sleeve - "When they get close, pretend to be drunk, take the right I'll take the left. Throwing knife to the throat, don't kill them, just keep them subdued."

Then, when the bouncers get close, Menelacar and Anglomir will still act drunk, but when close enough will hold a throwing knife to their throats as above, saying "if you even flinch I'll slice your throat. Now listen very carefully..."

And is there anything on them that could identify who they are or who sent them?

Like? They aren't carrying wallets with full details or the like...

-

They draw their blades as they approach, Menelacar.

Well, if they've drawn first that changes things.

Up for a rumble, Anglomir?

Insignia, some sort of emblem or design that would stand out on their weapons, or something like that?

Nope!

Well, that might not be entirely fair, but you aren't an expert in axe design to tell that sort of thing.

But Talin might be, yes? He is going to head over to where William was keeping watching, to report that he has been wounded.

Sure thing! Consider yourself there!

Alright! Talin will limp up and pull the axe out of his leg, being somewhat dramatic about it but not really bothered.

"Well, looks like I wasn't the only one that had company," he says. He decides to examine the axe that he pulled out of his leg, to see if it has any markings.

Menelacar turns to the bouncers, still acting drunk.

"Wot you got those out for?" he slurrily asks, "We don't want no trouble. Anyway, mine's bigger than yours, and so is 'is one too"

He pulls his Longsword to show them, holding it in a non threatening, 'here take a look at this' kind of way, but ready to use it immediately. I suppose you could call it a bluff with some drunken charisma...
