Yup!

"Thank you Lord Halatir. I was wondernig are you participating in any of the up coming events?"

"I might have a look at the melee," says Halatir. "But I've got other things to do."

"Which is more than understandable, Migt I trouble you for your thoughts on the kingdoms current military situation?"

"Critical," says Halatir. "Make no mistake, horseman, this is the time of choice for Arthedain, when it chooses whether to live or die. The Witch-King must be opposed- he must be confronted. Confronted and defeated. Now is the best time to do it, when he thinks we are weak. Even as the other rebuilds, we still have a great army intact; all it needs is the right man to lead it."

"Might I inquir on how great this army is, and its composition?"

"The Eastern Army? Tens of thousands of Men- footmen, archers, riders; all trained and willing. It's not fully equipped right now but that can be arranged."

"That's an impressive army to be sure. You spoke about 'the right man to lead them' do you have anyone in mind?"

"I'm sure the King will recognise the right man," he says, with a slight smile.

"I was also wondering if you could tell me a bit more about this tournament, how it will work for instance, Wether or not the winners get prices, if so what kind of. Because my people have a fairly different idea of entertainment."

Ellothiel: 0/Outflank

Darvan: 0/Power

Darvan attempts to force a blow though, but this time Ellothiel is ready to make a move to the side. Still, it may not have made a large difference- rolling a 99, and hence getting a rollover, Ellothiel is way past the socre needed for a hit!

A slight scratch on Darvan still means it is 2-1 to him, first set.

-

"There is some monetary reward," says Halatir, "but this is a noble tournament, mostly for honour. Most of the money is going on the entertainments."

-

As I mentioned in SW, I am absolutely swamped in real life right now; I shall try and get back to being more regular in updating soon.

(no problem Ush)

"Bah I'm not in it for the money, I'm in it for the glory. To defend the banner of my people! Will the competition be from beyond this kingdom?"

"No-one else will be coming, if that is what you mean," says Halatir. "But you outlanders are welcome to take part."

"Oh, that's too bad I was looking forward to matching myself with men of Gondor. From what I heard they are quite the warriors. I think I'll join the jousting tournament."

"Quite the warriors? Hah! Half-bred and half-witted in Gondor. Not true Dunadan at all. Believe me, us men of Arnor produce the finest warriors of Man. It will be... interesting to see you match your skills against them."

-

Ellothiel: 0/Classic

Darvan: 0/Power

Ah! But captiialising on his momentary weakness, Darvan rounds experly and Ellothiel and powers a blow straight through her guard, nicking her chest.

3-1 and the first Game to Darvan! It is now one game to nil; three games wins the Match.

Second Game starts now, 0-0.

Palidan- a Royal Herald has found you. King Arvedui wishes to be graced by your presence at the earliest opportunity.

Hey, I didn't say Outflank for this move.....

Bet you wish you did, though, because that is the one that beats Power.

The result is right, I just copy/pasted from the last move and evidently overwrote Darvan's with yours.

....damn.

Corrected now, anyway.

"Well Lord Halatir, as long as they are jousting we will see what happens." (BTW ush didn't I run into a noble man who was entering the jousting when I was near the princess with Dexx)
