Indeed you did, it was Annuneryn.

As you gather info about the Council members, btw, please feel free to add the info to the 'People of Interest' thread.

Teehee. Sucks to be you! 😛

Yay! (Been unbelievably busy as well so haven't been checking up on this... Stupid band Concert season stuff...)

I will graciously thank the Herald and as him to lead the way.

The Herald leads you to the throne room, a place normally full of pomp and circumstance, but now it is quiet and empty, other than for the King himself, sitting thoughtfully on his throne. Suddenly, it seems a cold and lonely place.

King Arvedui nods, and the Herald leaves the room.

*Bowing*
"Your majesty..."

"Thankyou," says Arvedui. He stands up.

"It's good to see you, Palidan. How have things faired for you since Baranar?"

"Acceptable, Nothing of note untill now."

"Have you kept in touch with your friends?"

(Hoping he means The guys, our party of harty adventurers... etc)

"Of course, They are actually all here, and we've even added a few to our number. Actually, many of them are entering the Tournament."

"That is good. I like to encourage participation from all. I have been lucky with my guests lately- we see very few vistors from your home."

"Yes, the elves still remain wary of their involvment with the affairs of man. I obviously feel differently, as I am here."

(IEPS I turned in my paper on NATO's enlargement in the 21st century today) so I should be available again full force.

"Halatir, do you know what kind of man Annuneryn is?"

"Annuneryn? Young idiot. Not the man his father was, and that wasn't much to start with."

-

"Your realm remains secluded in particular," says Arvedui. "Still... I am blessed with Elves in my lands, which is normally a sign of good fortune."

"I asked because he's entering the Jousting contest and he seemed rather fond of beating me, because of something that had to do with the princess. But I didn't understand why he made such a big deal of it"

"I'm sure you can draw your own conclusions," says Halatir, downing his goblet. "Now, if you will excuse me, I have maters to attend to."

"Certainly, thank you for your time Lord Halatir"

Ellothiel: 0/Outflank

Darvan: 0/Outflank

Both of you dancing around each other! Poncy Elves!

However, also a waste of time, as your rolls weren't much good ands you both miss. Doh!

-

Opinions on Halatir, Argentis? He mentioned a few things that might be worth considering.

Once Arvedui is finished talking with Palidan, he;s going to send him in your direction, btw.

Ellothiel: 0/Power

Darvan: 0/Outflank

Ah, Darvan is reading his opponent well now... and when he outguesses Ellothiel, she has not much chance.. Darvan steps neatly around Ellothiel's blow and lands a cut across her back, in a very firm hit!

1-0 to Darvan- two more will win the match!

Ellothiel: 5/Outflank

Darvan: 0/Power

Interesting!

Winning this exchange, Ellotheil's effective attack score this turn is 30 to Darvan's 20. All down to the dice...

58 plays 55. Not much to choose between! But it is Lana who goves over the mahic socre of 85, and gets a hit on Darvan! Well played.

1 all, second set, Darvan leads, 1 set to love...

"I am honored that you associate my visit with good fortune."
