"I don`t understand why they have so much troubles with movement." -Elladil adds to the comments of his companions.

Ellothiel's Perception is 26...also, yaaay laziness.

"Always rushing around." she simply replies to Elladil.

(Well, if I understand correctly, Walker's Perception is +10?)

Walker harumphs at the Elf's comment. "To Elves' perspectives, snails live fast-paced lives."

"They hurry so much because their lives are so short, right?"

"It would seem so."

Gwilwileth has a Perception score of 20.

"Perhaps we could seek further audiences with our list of suspects?" Anglomir suggests, one arm folded across his chest as his holds the other hand out to offer his suggestion. "And as it was said, we have not spoken with the Princes, though it would be a dark indeed should one of them be traitorous."

Elladil has Perception of 41.

"One can never be too sure Anglomir. I think we'd best divide the remaining suspects between ourselves and continue our investigation."

"I concur with the Horsemaster," Talin says.

"Perhaps not speak to the same people we have already spoken to?" suggests Menelacar

Rolls being as they are, it is Ellothiel that makes the spot...

One of the carts was transporting what can be politely be called 'dung' and less politely ould be called all manner of stuff. Basically a waste-carrying cart, which has turned sideways and dumped much of itself on the road.

But you are fairly sure a human finger shouldn't be there- yet there is one, poking out of it slightly.

-

"Of COURSE it's not the Princes! Such a suggestion is insane!" says Gorlim. "And you might keep getting up people's backs if all you do is talk toi them. Maybe you should consider some other avenues also?"

"Such as following them perhaps?"

"A bit of spying could be helpful," Anglomir agrees.

"Look..." Ellothiel says, pointing out the finger and making a face at the mess. "That isn't right..."

Gwilwileth furrows her brow at the mess.

"Is that... a digit?" Gwilwileth asks, stepping nearer. She looks to the owner of the cart. "Excuse me, sir, there appears to be something amiss with your cart..."

Hearing the elves, Walker looks at the overturned mess. "Upon my word, that's a [/i]finger[/i]!" Not having many conclusions to draw from the situation, he puts one of his meaty hands to the axe in his belt. "What, or should I say 'who' is that?"

(Only one way to find out!)

"Hmm, I'm not one to skulk in the shadows. But if some of you scoundrels feel up for it please do."

"Errrr..." says the cart driver, overwhelmed by both the crash and then being addressed by an Elf.

-

"Oh, must we talk of skulking around like some common thieves?" says Gorlim. "I just mean if you have all these questions to ask, like some you asked me earlier, there are other way than loudmouthing to the ruling council.

"For a start, I AM Chamberlain, you know. All the finances of the Kingdom are organised by me. I can get you access to the archives of the Exchequer if you want to look into finances. Or your questions about things in the past? The Royal Heraldric Library keeps all of our records. I can get you access there as well."

"Finances could be handy to have a look at. Do you also have personal income and spending records?"
