Elladil, you step forward, tentatively, and pull...
Ugh! Yes, an entire dead boy just came out of the mess.

Obviously there is no other information on the traitor at all. Gorlim is still sceptical.
The rest of you guys seem to be heading to opposite ends of the palace.
The Exchequer is a fairly busy place, with scribes and clarks engaged in a continuous scratching as they write down details- the particular surge in spending right now to do with the re-organisation and re-forming of the armies; all the money must be properly accounted for and handled correctly.
The clerks here, under Gorlim's instructions, will allow you access but not give any overt help as that would look suspicious. What actually are you looking for? If you came here just looking for anything at all, that's no good.
The Heraldric Library carries the history of the Kingdom- all the way back to its founding by Isildur's father, who was in turn carrying on the legacy of his father from the days of Numenor. It must be said that Dunedain are people that value history and this part of the Palace is held in high esteem.
It's also well guarded, by serious looking men in heavy chain and metal helmets.
Vitally important question here, Talin- it's unclear where you thought you were going when you offered to go with Palidan. Where actually are you intending to go?
I think this may have been unclear; this is not the private financial records of each noble; no-one would have such things (other than the nobles).
These are the finances of the Kingdom. It therefore gives details of who owns what land and what their standard income is. Also if any of them have had to borrow from the Royal finances (the closest there is to a bank) it would be here.
