Why would you need to defend your faith?
That's why the Apostles needed to remind us that we must stand firm and hold steadfast to the teachings of Jesus against deceiving spirits and doctrines.

How can you tell the difference since you said that the "Fruits of the Spirit" can also be from Satan....
The Ultimate test is Love and the fruits of the Spirit "And this is how you'd know them."

Standing, standing your ground makes sense to me, but defending, to me, means to attack your enemy. So maybe its just semantics. I stand my ground and will not let the wind blow me over, but I do not strike at the wind. When Jesus was tempted by Satan, he never attacked Satan, he talked to Satan and used logic and when he was done he told Satan to go away.
Also, you may stand for God, but to defend God is like a flea defending you, it can't be done.

What do you think did Christ do when people [apparently considered 'enemies'] messed up the Temple of God? What do you think did Apostle Paul do in the land of Gentiles? How did they defend the truth? Surely, they didn't just stand firm and hold steadfast to the words of God entrusted to them. There was a deepest secret Jesus has revealed to His people. That's what we are defending of.
By TRUTH and by TESTIMONY. By RIGHTEOUSNESS and by PROPHECY. 🙂

You are non of those things.
You can tell the truth of a person's religion by the way the person is.indeed
Like the Centurion?well thats just one of the biblical tales and yes just like the centurion you can tell the truth about his religion due to the way he was.
You know too little about Christians, yet you're too confident to think you dowell Jury just like you then
MAY the True God bless youhe`s got a bigger chance than you for that to happen
